just an fyi, asian arowanas are illegal in the united states, and you obviously are in the US because you have a florida gar. keeping one is a federal offense, as the species is endangered in its natural habitat. if you are found with one, you get a $20,000.00 fine and the fish gets taken away and euthenized. just an fyi.

Just an FYI for the know it all. As for the gar being endagered. You must not live in florida. The Florida gar is not listed as endangered or vulnerable with the World Conservation Union (IUCN). The IUCN is a global union of states, governmental agencies, and non-governmental organizations in a partnership that assesses the conservation status of species. You can also have Asian Arowanas in the USA, with a permit.

What you should acknowledge is that some asian probably got his girlfriend to stuff live baby fish up her cunt in a plastic bag to then take a very long plane ride and then go through customs to get the fish into the US. I live in Thailand and I have a Florida Gar which are very common here too they have been introducedin the waterways many years ago also we have Alligator in much of Thailand and Malayasia too which were also introduced from the US in the 70s and 80s both of which you can find in almost any pet shop in Bangkok also I have an Australian arowana but it doesnt mean I am in either the USA or Australia
