@FrogmanINDK He might have missed a gear, but when you have a racy engine and clutch etc, it makes it easier to change and smoother from the previous to the next gear.

If you imagine doing this in your standard road car, it would be pointless and not make much sense (Other than you being a dick) But if you did it in a car with a modified engine or one tuned primarily for performance it would make sense.

@cavaderblood , Its very thin black wire mesh, you can see the engine parts through it at the rear of the car, it can look funny sometimes if you don't know its wire mesh.

@cavaderblood , It does not look distorted and melted, its an optical illusion, once you know what its made of (thin black wire mesh) you can see better what it is and can then see its not distored and melted, you can also see the engine parts behind the wire mesh.

Watch it again and think wire mesh and you should be able to see it properly then.

@cavaderblood , Yeah, the F50 is the same, it has the same thin black wire mesh at the back that you can see through, but on the F50 you can see more engine parts inside than you can on the F40.

But the wire mesh can look really funny if you are not sure what its made of, you are not sure what you are looking at or what's wrong with it until you know its wire mesh.

Its a good way of having all engine parts on show instead of just covering then up and hiding them.

@cavaderblood , Yeah i like that way too, but the F40 still has that clear plastic cover over the engine, but the bit where the wire mesh is would have only been covered up by a plastic bumber, so the wire mesh is a good way to have more of the engine on show.

After all, its a beast of an engine so why cover it up.

@oldirtybastard213 The Enzo was a little too heavy I think, it weighs in at around 1'365kg, where as the F40 was 1'100kg dead. The next limited edition Ferrari (codenamed F70) will only weigh around 1'000kg, so that should be better.

The brakes have been upgraded to LeMans specs. The stock wheels do not fit over these brakes. Most competition F40's (LM,GT, & GTE) have these wheels.
