One thing that always bugged me is Stamper's insanely suicidal loyalty to Carver "And Kaufman!". Seriously, what is up with that? I know the Bond series was never meant to be about realism, but if we're attaching real-life emotions to these people even for a moment, just think about it; unless it is explicitly stated in the movie (which it may be, I don't remember) that Carver and Kaufman are mentors to Stamper or something, he has no reason for such insane loyalty.
carver and stamper were okay villains i miss trevelan and general orumov though they were very good as antagonists and graves too. and stamper had the shittiest death ever he should have been chained up and thrown in the water to die what a stupid way for him to be blown up like that
man the though guy would survive to a stab in MIDDLE OF THE CHEST? and still hold a 80-100 pounts guy with ONE FUCKING HAND? MY GOD HE WAS REALLY THOUGH
It's quite brutal when Bond literally "drills" Carver about the 1st rule of mass media. Gotz Otto did an excellent job as Stamper, and one has to wonder why he isn't in more North American films....
I think this is actually one of those very rare occasions where the main villain gets it worse than the henchman. In nearly all of the other action films I've seen, the henchman always gets the more horrible death.
Another thing about Carver's death... does it strike anyone as odd that the drill conveniently stops running right after it's torn Carver to pieces? Or is that just because it ate its own control system?
At 4:27, Carver also makes the usual supervillain mistake: clubbing Bond down and starting to rant about his master plan, instead of shooting him while he still had the drop on him.
Ah, the traditional horrible way to die reserved for all Bond villains. Although this one is a cut above the rest. Talk about cringe factor at 5:29...
One of my favorite Bond movies!! I miss these days of Bond.. Casino Royale was great but Bond didn't need a reboot. I hope they don't continue to lose sight of the true Bond elements like they did in QoS.
Tomorrow Never Dies was great and underrated Bond movie. Pierce Brosnan shines as always. Michelle Yeoh was great - maybe the strongest Bond Girl. She could kick Bond's ass too. Jonathan Pryce was great villain. Teri Hatcher should have had much more screen time.
I also love K.D.Lang's theme song - really unique performance
there are some funny parts in the part stamper vs bond,7:14 that maniac laugh,7:35 after those hard blows from bond he gives this retarded smile, and at 6:35 it isnt really funny but weve dont see bond get his ass kicked that hard
the reason why stamper would of won is because he is not like a human a normal human would feel pain when bond punches or if they get punched but stamper feels pleasure instead preety wierd
Damn. Time goes by and feels like all the classic villians are older, and now as of today we have nothing for the Bond movies to come.. No creative ideas at all these days..

My favourite 007 ending. The music was romantic and heroic. Bond both saves his country, and saves Wai Lin whilst aharing an intimate moment with her.
And Stamper, the sadistic murdering thug gets exactly what he deserves.
Stamper and Jaws were my two favourite Henchmen/ villians!!!
