I love these and make them all the time. I also add 1/3 cup cacao and a little extra agave to taste for chocolate macaroons! Great cookies and antioxidents. This recipe rocks!
Why are all these cooking videos with beautiful women always seemed to be married. Wish i could find a woman like yourself, your husband must be a lucky man especially with your cooking......im soo jealous. I tried macaroons for the first time today, absolutely one of my favourite desserts from now on. Im trying all different kinds of recipes on youtube. Your lucky number 1 :)
@plainjuhjane We haven't tried one w/out a food processor, but it must be possible! If you give it a try, we'd love to hear how it works w/out one!! xox
Hi i love macaroon cookies i always eat the unhealthy ones now i can be healthy eating these :), two question, do they fall apart easily or can i put it in the fridge to harden a bit??? do you soak the almonds????
@CamilleVendryes Hi, yes, you'll want to put them in the fridge to set and then store them there until gone. We do recommend soaking the almonds so they are easier to digest. Enjoy!! =)

i lile your receipe but i have to say those are not macarons..... the main point of the macaron is fresch meringue but since your receipe doesn't use any meringues..
those are not macarons but just nice yummy almond cookies
i cant eat coconut at my home cause my father had a heartattack and is not allowed to eat coconut cause they have bad oils (trans. fat), so is a no-no for my health
@verito1990 Coconut does not have bad fat. I don't know where you are getting your information but coconut has good fats which are needed for good health. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are good fats. Coconut has those and to add to the plus of coconut, It is heart healthy and has all the amino acids you need. It's impossible for coconut to have trans fat. Trans fat is good fat transformed by high temperatures. A good example of that is cooking with EVOO. The oil changes in the heat.
@verito1990 Thats when it is bad for you. That's when the oils healthy properties changed resulting in Trans Fat. Try it and see for yourself. Good oils should not be cooked in high temperatures unless it is an oil that can withstand high heat. Which most of those oils are expensive and are only sold in your local health food stores.
Hey girls umm i was wondering if you can do some more healthy recipes because i want to give them to my grandpa how loves sweets but is a diabectic but wont give up on the sweets. And also for the ingredents on both recipes do you need to go to a health store to buy them or just like Target? Thanks sooooo Much Luv ya
@taytaydancer4eva17 hey cutie, that's great you're trying to help your grandpa, it can make a world of difference for him. We usually shop health food stores, cuz we can find more of the ingredients we use. good luck!! xox
Thank you so much for this recipe! I made these with my two year old today and they were fantastic!! She kept coming back for more! It's nice to know you can make something so delicious without all the artificial and processed ingredients! We are making the fudge next! Love your videos!
@Krinets23 That's SO cute!!! It's exciting that you enjoyed them, hope the fudge was as big of a hit! it's a wonderful feeling to find healthy alternatives to feed your baby too, huh! xoxo
i love this video because i love to bake and make healthy things for my family. And foe my little sister who needs healthy snacks for her high cholesterol.
Yeah, and SOO delish!! Most ingredients came from the health food store. If you love the coconut oil, we found it by the gallon for LOTS cheaper. I put the info on the sidebar. I use it soooo much for everything, so I had to find a better price!! And you can put it in the fridge, that will harden them.
I get blue agave at the health food store, you could use honey, but agave isn't quite as sweet as honey. I use it for a lot of recipes to replace sugar. It's not normally in macaroons, but works great in raw recipes!! =)
No, we're just really into healthy eating and follow more of a Mediterranean diet...lots of organic veggies, fruits, whole grains, nuts, some unfarmed fish & poultry. It's awesome! We stay completely away from sugar & processed foods too. Makes a HUGE difference!! =)
I will to try this recipe. I have a recipe or No-Bake Flax Snacks (Balls). I make these with my grandaughters. They love making them an eating them and they are healthy. Ground flaxseed, oat flour, cinnamon, cloves, peanut butter, rice syrup. Mix together, roll into 1" balls. Lightly dust with powdered sugar (optional), chill for future use.
that's SO awesome! it's SO hard to get started, but worth it!! And so much easier when you find great recipes so you don't feel like you're missing out. =)
Thanx SO much! We've got lots of product reviews coming and plan to do recipes every now & then. It's SOOO fun to see people wanting to learn more ways to be HEALTHY--LOVE IT!!!!!! =)
These look amazing! Great video and recipe!

Do I have to use a food processor? I don't have one and am a poor college student so buying one really isn't an option right now. It looks delicious!

@verito1990 coconut doesn't have trans fats, it has saturated fat, but unlike animal saturated fats it has 0% cholesterol.

Could you use honey in place of the agave nector?
Thanks!
QuixoticXmischief 1 year ago
@QuixoticXmischief Yes you can, and the best honey to get is natural, raw from your local area.

No, they stay raw. You can refrigerate them a couple hours, but they are DELISH with no cooking! That helps to maximize the nutritional value too =)
