I wouldn't want a forced vaccination either, but if it meant losing my job, I would take the vaccination. You gotta eat. That being said the world death rate for h1n1 is 1%, and if you survive isn't your immune system that much better off the next time a flu comes around? I'll take my chances.
Good. These nurses claim "It's not safe" and "It's just like 1976" without doing ANY research whatsoever. I would love to see the reporter ask "So, what studies have you read about the vaccine that lead you to this conclusion".
Just because the vaccine is out quickly doesn't mean it's not safe.
Nurses should be required to take precautions to safeguard the people they're taking care of. It comes with the territory.
"They will can be because I won't get the shot." huh???
I agree, they shouldn't be making claims on national t.v. that the vaccine isn't safe without some solid evidence.
You may be right, it may be necessary to require nurses to take the vaccine, that being said, it's still not right. If these nurses feel that strongly they should def. look into another line of work.
I don't like the idea of a forced vaccination, but I'm not willing to lose my job over it. JMO
I'd make the contention that they are unable to refuse the shot in their position. It's like a jewish person being a pork taster. He can't refuse it because it's a part of his job.
Nurses cannot go into work sick and they need to protect their patients. It's as simple as that.
I understand the necessity of the mandatory vaccination, but I also understand that we will likely lose good nurses because of it. There will be some who refuse and will likely find a new career path, that is a shame. I think the majority of people who are required to get the vaccine will do so, as opposed to losing their jobs. But it still sucks. Just the idea of it, ya know?
what scares me the most is that they believie that because a 1976 pandemic happened but didn't get too serious it'll the odds will tip in favor for not happening again
and what's even scaryier is if one of these nurses catches the flue who knows how much death they could cause
figures, this video won't load properly. They know full well that the American Populace will not take it if the medical professionals won't. No jabs for me or my family. We have been sold out by our own Government.

Of course it's legal, but legal isn't lawful OR moral. Legal is fiction.
