  • @TheParamountPrincess RMAO!!... you ok?....thats too funny!

  • WHY ISNT STUFF LIKE THIS PLAYING ON THE RADIO TODAY ?!?!?!?!?

    WHY WHY WHY WHY

  • The irony is that the comments are never as exciting as this music that can probably wake the dead! Come on people step up to the plate with creative crackling comments that snap and bite and not the melancholy zombie crap statements about who borrowed from who blah...Just dig it!

  • @TMNigel I agree, people come on here and complain that Zep stole all their stuff from blues artist when in reality people wouldn't even know who Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker or Blind Willie Johnson are without Zeppelin.

  • @TMNigel this is the kind of comments i like to see posted in any good song;)

  • What a blues holler...never heard anything like it before or since! What personality and Jimmy's solo screams at you. This is the real thing.

  • top of their game. period.

  • If i found out i could never have sex ever again...I could just listen to this over and over and I would be right.....

  • @buddyrush1059 you give niggers a bad name . ha ha ha

  • @buddyrush1059 you should wear a helmet

  • early Zep doing the raw blues, out f--king standing!!!! Thank god someone had the presence of mind to get these jams on tape, even if the quality is not the best. The raw sound of an old record playing adds to the aura!!!

  • f@#$ u non zep fans..

  • Page going nuts! Raw blazing riffs that became the lexicon of 70s classic rock! Thank for sharing!

  • Always so funny to hear from the guardians of the "authentic" blues in the comments section of LZ vids! NOBODY gave a SHIT about the blues outside of a bunch of obsessives in the UK who just happened to go on to form the biggest bands ever. The black blues artists only made a living performing R&B standards (NOT blues) on the chitlin circuit in the USA. Then they'd go to the UK & get "authentic" again. 'Cause that's the only place people gave a damn about the blues. People like JIMMY PAGE!!

  • This is amazing

  • @buddyrush1059 lol smoked enough there dont you? 1. blues standards are just played by the lot.. but i do agree zeppelin stole some lyrics here and ther but riffs and playing style? come on man you wanna compare hendrix to page? thats a long shot hendrix isnt in the same league as page is!

  • @buddyrush1059

shut your fucking face, white hater. This is for comments not trash talk you piece of shit.

  • Muito bom!

  • ezen nőttünk fel,nagyon jeeee

  • Although i like this video here are some good reasons to dislike it.

This song is a nice cover of Willie Dixon. The uploader doesnt give credit to the original artist.

Either Led Zeppelin themselves never gave any credits to the owner of this song.

The radio wich played blues rock back in the 70's banned american blues artists from they radio show. We stole this music.

  • @ihaveallseeingeyes - Let me suggest that you use those all-seeing-eyes and take a look at the back cover of Led Zep 1- where you'll see that Willie Dixon is clearly credited with writing the song. As well as "You Shook Me".

  • @UX210 Look at everyones comments, they all think this song is from zeppelin haha.

  • how do i get this on my ipod? anybody know?

  • @satanaya1 theres websites that make youtube vids into mp3's just google it. i've done it several times.

  • @satanaya1 download the video.... than download any video convertor and convert video into a MP3 format or whatever

  • Zeppelin blues

  • what a unbelieveable version thanks alot love it, best band all time

  • brilliant

  • How about that! There are 26 people who watched this video , and they prefer the cookie cutter corporate crap of today??? lady gaga, beiber, etc. Good luck to you fools......

  • SONIC BLUE'S.....

  • "this is how led zeppelin do terraplane blue's" - one way or another, there was alway's homage to school.

  • It's like hearing everything that you ever wanted

  • @Beer1584 it is indeed!

  • It's beyond my comprehension how the fact that I was a die-hard 16 year-old Beatles fan prevented me from even hearing a tenth of the sheer brilliance of this stuff. I hated Plant's voice - heard screech instead of power. I thought the playing was ragged, the drums "irregular" (???).

What a doze! Don't ever believe you're not going to change over the course of your life.

  • @alvingrung irregular drums? do you mean wierd timing or poor playing?

  • @eatthisvr6 I meant both the production and style. You could hear the snap of the drumheads and varied tonality of the drums, rather than the crisp snare and round notes of toms and bass you usually got with pop records. Then his rollouts were not timed to coincide with the end of the bar and he found odd patterns as well. I was a fledgling drummer in those days and found it off-putting, despite having been turned on by similar experimentation by Ringo on cuts like Strawberry Fields Forever.

  • @eatthisvr6 So, it was live and learn. Now, I listen to him and marvel. What dumb thing would I have done with Kashmir, for example? How did he think that up?

  • LA VOOOOOOOOOOOZ DE PLAAAANT

  • Great playing jimmy!! Robert too! Way to rep the blues gents!!

  • Contrary to the statements in this posting, Page and the boys very definitely plagiarized material from black American blues performers. They weren't the only ones who got their fingers slapped for stealing. The Stones and many others were notorious for this crap as well and had albums recalled because they would credit the writers as "Traditional" rather than pay much needed royalties to Howlin' Wolf or Willie Dixon. A thief is still a thief even if it is by an act of omission.

  • @spacemonkey1463 What about stealing a ritchie valens song?? Stealing off a dead 17 year olds?? Come on.

  • @Phenomenon58 Check the credits of Boogie With Stu - it says Mrs. Valens if you care to take a look. LZ heard that his mother never got any money from his stuff, so they included her. BTW, Valens "stole" that song from Little Richard. Now, you know a little bit more than you used to.

  • 20 years Before I was born. I Love Led Zeppelin

  • Killing floor?

  • @davidmorenoist MAS RESPETO PORFAVOR EN YOUTUBE. LA PENCA DEL MONO ES UNA PALABRA ZOES Y NO DE BUENOS MODALES. FAVOR RESPETAR YOUTUBE.

  • There's a difference between plagiarizing someone's completely original composition and doing a take on a "traditional" blues song...Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and even Willie Dixon all did variations on the variations of different guitar and piano "tunes" that floated around as a common stock of material to work with. The fact some lawyer copyrighted Robert Johnson's recordings doesn't rule out the fact he "plagiarized" many of the tunes and lyrics of his songs...

  • @echster Absolute rubbish! Read a bloody book!

  • @spacemonkey1463 So Willie Dixon didn't borrow from Sister Rosetta Tharpe's "This Train (Is Bound For Glory)" for "My Babe" or use Earl Hooker's "Blue Guitar" for the music to "You Shook Me". Hooker also wrote the music that Dixon used for "You Need Love" which some claim is the proto-type for "Whole Lotta Love". And many consider Kokomo Arnold's "Kokomo Blues" the original from which Robert Johnson "borrowed" much of "Sweet Home Chicago".

  • best band ever

  • What a powerful voice did Plant lost later over the years! It's a pitty. This version is really great, cool and has a lot of feelin'.

  • Led Zeppelin blues is juicy and completely authentic to the tradition. Some of the best modern rock interpretations to date. Love that about this band.

  • What an EXCELLENT song...With AMAZING guitar riffs!! Thnx for sharing it!! \m/

  • jimmy plays with so much soul and greatness

  • Page was a session guitarist prior to joining the Yardbirds, having played in that period in more albums and live performances than most of this generation of players will ever do in their entire careers. Having said that, Page picked up styles, licks and riffs from many sources, which he incorporated to his music arsenal, making him one of, if not, the most versatile rock guitarist. If it weren't for good performers playing older songs, this music could be lost in history.

  • Ah, Jimmy Page doing his best to emulate Buddy Guy. Not bad for a bunch of white boys. Robert trying to sing like The Howlin Wolf.

  • Thank YOU

  • The ones that care of being stolen from are those ones. Maybe not a third party. Maybe not the criminals who still, untill they are judged and fined. But I am glad LZ played this song. They just could have been formal enough to site the creator.

  • Wow! This is a great interpretation of I Can't Quit You. This is what it's all about.

  • where is my modern day Led Zeppelin? Where's The Doors or (The) Cream? why cant I find a place that I can drink beer and watch The Who or Jimi Hendix? For the love of rock... please bring us another savior riding a steel-waved steed.

  • @jcsherman1 The younger players of today cant sing or play the Chicago Blues style, or any Blues, if their life depended on it. Rock has been washed out of the Blues.

  • This is my blues Feeling I love it And I now This is Real blues. But Dixon Very Good AND Good And Good Blues Man !!!

  • @polymath7

willie dixon died in like 1997 or around then, long after zep was over. you need to pull the stick out of your ass because jimmy page is amazing, but that doesnt mean he didnt take peoples music. the thing that bugs me out is that they took credit, and because they took success from that its not cool. and you know that tune Travelling Riverside Blues? Robert Johnson song. he didnt get a chance to sue them tho. also, at least 1/3rd of the zep 1 album are from bluesmen. prove me wrong.

  • @maxamilionare B-I

Now I'm certain you're pulling the cheap cut-and-paste trick. Once was a curiosity, but for the second time now I've become aware of your reply only becaus I returned to this video. Not a thing in my inbox.

Now, as regards Willie Dixon, you'll notice I said "I'm fairly sure without checking", and my free admission that I didn't bother to check how long Dixon lived reflects my lack of interest in the matter. I'm afraid this imagined stick will remain...

  • B-II. ...planted quite firmly in my ass, as I see no reason to remove a figment of your imagination. Though quite familiar with Johnson, I'd forgotten about 'Traveling Riverside Blues', again because it's simply not worth checking thoroughly. I just listened to the two back to back, and am quite at a loss as to where -aside from the title- even any slight borrowing occurred. Certainly they are *utterly* different in musical strcture, as much so as any two randomly matched blues/rock songs...

  • B-III. ...and thus any overlap that extends beyond mere coincidence that could be found in almost any two rock/blues songs lies I presume somewhere in the lyrics, which I did not bother to parse for lack of interest. Again, to say Page "ripped off" this song is a preposterously wild overstatement of your case.

Of Shakespeare's thirty-eight plays, only his last, 'The Tempest', is his own creation from beginning to end, with no basic plotlines or character names borrowed from earlier sources...

  • B-IV ...but this in no way even slightly undermines the originality of his acheivement. All artists do the same, in one way or another, everywhere and at all times, and without exception.

"If there is something to be stolen, I steal it"

    -Picasso

I bet you're sufficiently unlettered, and clueless of the natuure of artistic creativity, that the irony of this quote is completely lost on you.

  • Best car song ever

  • Who cares... its all good music played by people who cared about what they did.

It shows. What is wrong with you lot? Just listen!

  • polydouche: did willie ever plug in? Did RJ ever plug in etc...Did any of them ever open-up "that last" blues cord and expand? No, and they all 2 had electricity as did LZ: You have missed a HUGE evolutioary jump eh (Elvis is then the Primary larcinest). So, Wilie and RJ et al were, too, uninspired and NO fore-fathers? Please. How much Monkey shit did the Beatles rip? And they, hardly, had the innate musical ability of LZ. Ask Ringo and a forever (early-mid) happy strumming of PM. Wake up Jack.

  • Who cares if Led Zeppelin plagiarized or not they played music that was awesome and unforgettable how many people recognize these songs based on the older musicians versions of them anyway, they don't people recognize them because of Led Zeppelin. So either way Led Zeppelin should still get credit because they did something in such a way that it allowed them to be heard.

  • @polymath7

i have one question to ask you, did sonny boy williamson die rich or poor? and did robert johnson die rich or poor? and did willie dixon die rich or poor? i guess thats 3 questions but thats beside the point. led zeppelin was the number one band for like 9 years or something like that. half of the material from the first album was from some old bluesman. and willie dixon successfully sued them for plagiarism. so what is brainless in saying that led zeppelin plagiarized? 4 questions

  • @maxamilionare I.

Did you post your reply under "post comment" with a cut-and-paste of my screen name, to make it appear you'd replied to me directly, but that I had no answer? Because it never appeared in my inbox.

    No matter.

Robert Johnson was long dead by the time Zeppelin came along, and without checking I'm pretty sure Willie Dixon was as well. Johnson died at twenty-nine -in 1938- and Zeppelin never covered any of his songs (presumably you're thinking of Clapton).

  • II.

Your point about Willamson's successful plagiarism suit has far more merit, minor as it is, but to me the most germane question regards not the technicalities of copyright law, but of creativity and derivative banality. To say *half* the material on Zeppelin's first album "was from old bluesmen" is highly misleading at best. Half the songs quote lyrics and basic melodies from old bluesmen, but are so musically dissimilar to the "originals" as to render any accusation of outright theft...

  • @polymath7 actually, i ain't trying to get involved w/ you all, but zep did cover "travelling riverside blues" on BBC sessions. not that there's anything wrong with it though! they also played a lot of cover songs while they were on their first tour of scandanavia and its likely that, since zep loved RJ so much, they played a few of his tunes. and clapton did cover some too, as you say.

  • @jporcel100

the only problem was that they made some serious bank of off stuff that wasnt given to them. they came from outside of the blues world and reaped the benefits.

Led Zeppelin is the greatest cover band in history

  • @maxamilionare "...the only problem was..." There is no such problem. Your logic is utterly brainless. Exactly how does one delineate the boundaries of this "blues world", and by what criteria do you determine who is and is not alllowed to avail himself of its musical resources?

I suspect you'll have no coherent answer, other than to tell me they can't be English or white. Jackass.

  • Okay maybe their earlier stuff they ripped off but later on they did their own thing ;)

  • where are you getting this info from?how did they steal it you troll...

  • Led Zeppelin's first couple albums had a lot of music they kinda covered if you wanna say that i mean still they remain one of the best bands ever in my opinion dont get me wrong but hey you gotta start somewhere :)

  • @Theoneandonly504 They also covered Yardbirds songs, but only because Jimmy Page was in that group and was supposed to condinue where they left off and then decided to change their name to Led Zeppelin and were also called The Nobs.

  • go listen to the original version by Otis Rush, the legendary Chicago bluesman.

His version remains the best by a mile....

  • man dont get me wring but they ripped this off an old blues artist.

  • @beatlezrawesome That;'s not accurate. Willie Dixon wrote this song. Otis Rush covered it. So did Zeppelin. Both Otis Rush and Zeppelin credited it to Willie Dixon. So, there is no rip-off. Zeppelin made Willie Dixon rich from this song.

  • Is this on BBC Sessions?

  • @BoomBoy13

Nope, you can tell by the sound of the guitar, and obviously , the voice of Robert, at the BBC Sessions they were just screw.. And .. in 1963 they were just starting, Sessions were at the end, after the last disk. Daa

  • robert plant looked so stoned

  • greatest band ever.......the end.

  • This is knock down the best blues band that ever picked up instruments in anger.

  • As much as I love Led Zeppelin, they really copied this from Willie Dixon, who's the man abviously! Still gotta love the music!

  • @masterofmetallica09 its a cover dude. its not like they claimed that they wrote it.

  • @scrainbow1234 agreed and there is...some helpful comment I saw a while ago said between type "repeat" in the address bar between "youtube" and ".com" and enjoy :D

  • I started playing guitar because of them. If you want to hear how Led Zeppelin-inspired pop music sounds 2011 style click on wisztrock.

  • @Wisztrock there's nothing pop about led zeppelin...so why don't you go eat bull cock you trolling prick

  • @tremold2043 theryre pretty POP- ular.

  • @Wisztrock Same here Jimmy Is what made me take up the guitar. listen to stone temple pilots Plush - thats babe im gonna leave you's chord progression. Listen to Coheed and Cambria's - Welcome home thats Kashmir

  • this is so exciting

  • Wish I have that Bass player and drummer

  • I'm gonna have to put you down for a while . . .

  • You gotta love these ol' black camoflaged heroin tunes revisited!

  • I am always curious where people find these awesome lost tracks? Thanks for posting them.

  • YDOESJESUSLOVETHEM?

  • or he had it. damn did he have it

  • bonham has fucking got it

  • Imagine sitting there of an evening in 69, turning your radio knob, and this comes on.

  • @MixxMasterKid i would shit my pants and fall on the ground like a crying black woman

  • Contrary to popular belief, Zeppelin did not plagiarize material. They carried on the same tradition that blues musicians have been practicing throughout the 19th and 20th centuries -- covering music that has been passed on from generation to generation. Listen to the blues, and you will hear the same songs covered in different ways by many musicians.

  • @jporcel100 Blues musicians, 19th century. Yeah right, you really know your stuff (and the nuggets giving you thumbs up). Page did plagiarise. Not just songs based on the 12-bar trope either. Dazed and Confused and Black Mountain Side are almost identical to tracks released by the real authors before Led Zep 1 and there are many many more instances. LZ's versions were usually much better but that's not the point, Page heard the tunes, polished them up, and stole the royalties.

  • @jporcel100 but, in music industries its not allowed. im a zeppelin fans and i think they did some mistake. okay, they've give credit in some songs (such as Lemon song, how many more times, although it was too late). but, songs like Dazed and Confused and White Summer not. i love them. but not because i love zeppelin then i close my eyes with this case. Led Zeppelin is a great band. their contribution to music is amazing. even great band made some mistakes with credit..sorry about my english

  • @jporcel100 "Contrary to popular belief" Led Zeppelin definitely did plagiarize material. They were infamous for it and it occurs throughout their catalogue. If they didn't plagiarize then we would be as well doing away with the word. People like Jimi Hendrix used traditional blues licks, etc, but he was vastly different and a great innovator.

  • @lewars1912 They did, unfortunately!!!! Your right. They interpreted the Blues beautifully, they did not always give the proper song credit. however, most of their peers did.

  • @lewars1912 wrong. check jimi's catalogue, he borrowed a ton of repertoire from the greats. see valleys of neptune and the BBC sessions track listing. Bleeding heart, sunshine of your love, i hear my train a comin', hoochie coochie man, killing floor .....the list goes on, were all borrowed repertoire. in fact jimi borrowed MORE tunes from other artists then Zeppelin did (at least that were released anyway, i can't speak for the live shows).

  • @sramirezsoprano I've no idea where you got this "Jimi Hendrix borrowed a ton of repertoire from the greats" idea from. Jimi fully acknowledged any songs he did by others. With regard to "Contrary to popular believe" read the comment on this page by jporcel100, who like you, is trying to defend Led Zeppelin. There are many examples of their plagiarism. Google "Led Zeppelin: Wilson & Alroy's Record Reviews," also " The Thieving Magpies: Jimmy Page's Dubious Recording Legacy."

  • @lewars1912 Are you really going to cite that idiot who wrote that "Theiving Magpies" article as a verifiable source? This is the same guy who said Jim McCarty was a better drummer than John Bonham. What a joke. No one is forcing you to listen to Led Zeppelin. If you don't like them, than run along troll.

  • @brianpage100 I find it a very verifiable source and people are free to make up their own minds. I'm sure a lot of people will find him far from being an "idiot," especially if part of his so called idiocy is due to who was a better drummer. No one is forcing me to listen to Led Zeppelin and no one is forcing you to respond to my comments though I do tend to take an ignorant response like yours as a compliment.

  • Comment removed

  • @lewars1912 I would formulate an intellegent response for someone deserving of one. I called that man an 'idiot' because of his ignorance of music. Once again, why are you on a Led Zeppelin video? The fact that Zeppelin haters go out of their way to criticize Zeppelin just further corroborates their irrelevance. Why not go to video of music you enjoy, intsead of being deliberatley controversial. Good day to you, kind sir.

  • @brianpage100 If you like them then you shouldn't concern yourself about whether or not I do. No one's asking you to read my comments and respond to them and for you say that I'm being deriberately controversial is absurd especially as it's a well known fact around the world. If you disagree with this then you're perfectly free to think and say so. We thankfully are able to do this.

  • @lewars1912 i don't think he's an idiot. there is some decent, well thought out stuff on that page, and some interesting points, but the fact is its just some blogger who uses a psudonym w/ an opinion that happens to agree w/ yours dude. nothing wrong with it, but i would prefer to read a rock historian or scholar on the topic. there are detracters of everything dude...but the conventional wisdom has it right on this one, i hate to tell you man, but led zep will go down as original.

  • @matthewosburn Well, they'll certainly go down.

  • @lewars1912 i got it from the same place any one would...wikipedia. go check out jimi's sourced wiki page. he didn't write "hey joe" his breakout hit, nor " all along the watchtower" nor a ton of material from the BBC sessions (he covers cream, beatles, muddy waters et al). the fact that he may have acknowledged it isn't relevant. i love jimi but these are facts. i checked out that article. the writer obviously has a bias to go by the name "will shade", he's probably a zeppelin detracter

  • @lewars1912 and there are many errors in the editorial: the fact that he ascribes the yardbirds material to others is a matter of assertion, and not necessarily factual. beware of anyone who posts a random page w/o their real name. this is bullsh*t detection 101 in my book. if it were cameron crowe or some well respected rock writer/historian that would be a different story. i double dare you to try to edit zep's wiki page citing that article...it would be deleted almost instantly.

  • @lewars1912 also it doesn't occur "throughout their catologue" as you state. on the 1st two albums Yes there are some borrowed blues tunes, the 3rd has one song borrowed from traditional celtic (gallows pole). physical graffiti has one cover. BTW artists who were just getting started used to cover a few tunes so they had a more material to play live. the beatles, Zep, stones, hendrix, santana all did it. Zep is not "infamous" for plagerism. and what "popular belief" are you referencing?

  • @jporcel100 that's very true and well stated. they were sued by willie dixon (that must suck to be sued by one of your heroes) over "whole lotta love" which they "ripped off", so they had to settle out of court. most the people who say that Zep plagerize are just idiot Zeppelin haters.

  • @sramirezsoprano "You need love" recorded by Muddy. Zeppelin ran into the same issue with "Boogie with Stu" from Ritchie Valens. Valens actually borrowed from Little Richard, when he recorded his song. Why are all these people obsessed with Led Zepps alleged "rip offs" ? Zepp always paid homage to the great players, especially the Chicago players. Rush's versions(I cant quit you baby) are still the best, even though Zeppelin's version sounds more like Buddy Guy.

  • @jporcel100 Yes but all those other people gave credit where it was due. Check all the original album covers and Jimmy Page took full credit for 'writing' those songs. Look up Taurus - Spirit, totally stole the main riff from stairway to heaven. AND taurus opened up for Led many times which he later denied. He lied about it and tried to cover it up and was sued. Get your facts straight, he should of gave cred where it was due.

  • Conclusion:

    Every blues players plagiarized songs?

  • @jporcel100 Yet, making money off of and claiming authorship of others' material!

How would you have felt if you were Willie Dixon?

  • @jporcel100 Only difference is that they made way more money than Dixon on his own song and they didn't carry it on in blues CULTURE, but rather in fame. So I'd call it plagiarizing. They do these songs well, but its still plagiarizing. Plus, Dixon sued them and was successful so legally it was plagiarism.

  • @jporcel100 Contrary to your misguided beliefs, Led Zeppelin DID IN FACT PLAGIARIZE other peoples material on their first album. I've been a Led Zeppelin Fan since '69 and know (like every knowledgeable person knows) they took songs written and RECORDED by others, revamped them and credited themselves as the writers. For your argument to hold water, todays (generation) could re-vamp "Stairway to Heaven" - put themselves down as the writers and collect royalties. Nice your a fan, but get real!

  • anyone that says Zeppelin is not original knows nothing about playing a guitar . There is no guitarist more innovative and original than Jimmy Page .

  • @RisingSon011 Zeppelin have plagiarized more songs than any other band out there.

  • @metalwillhatecrew and they've also written more original and groundbreaking music , and directly influenced more future successful bands than any other band

  • @RisingSon011 ASI ES MAESTRO

  • Considerably different than the album version on LZ I. Somewhat more like the original Willie Dixon cut on his "I Am The Blues" album. YouTube is such an awesome tool to study music with. Tracking a tune through the years listening to different bands and artists play their versions...this is something I could not have even dreamed of 20 years ago.

  • Is this a record from a radio station? It's an amazing version! Just like the BBC Sessions one.

By the way, I'd love to watch the Robert Johnson's "Traveling Riverside Blues" played by Zep. It's great cover included in BBC Sessions album (disc one, 8th song). Does anybody has (or have :s -don't speak English-) it in video?

  • It is a cover. It is hard to play blues and not sound a little like someone else. All bands have done it. Rap samples, taking a lick here and there that inspires you to write your own song. Grow up people. Talent is talent and Zeppelin had it and always will.. PERIOD. Bonzo and Page and Plant and Jones are all talented musicians... are you?Where are your originals and covers posted up to you tube? What bank are your millions sitting in right now? Gold, platinum albums? I didn't think so.........

  • willie dixon.

  • Blues-Rock = Led Zeppelin.

Led Zeppelin = Blues-Rock + Whole Lotta Else.

  • @CentraCross What didn't Led Zeppelin do? Crappy music. That's what they didn't do. This is how music should be - pure feeling, absolute bliss. Their music is perfect, immortal, legendary, and may it remain untouched by tainted hands, as every note is a delicate treasure. Whenever a Led Zeppelin song is played, and angel gets its wings. It's sad we won't get anything like this ever again, but the originality is what makes this special.

  • >> 0:00 << There's your repeat button, sir.

  • look how young plant is in the pic. he looks like he is in his teens.

  • @mikeyume1 19!

  • amazing recording. the best version of this by far. you're infatuation with robert is a bit uncomfortable...

  • this has got to be the earliest i've ever heard zeppelin play before ever.

  • afou den mporite giati to palebete? asto sai kanenan alla pou mpwrei!

  • NOTE TO GOD: If you dont have any of this in your record collection please pay for the taxi to hell!

  • Im so jealous of my father, he got to see these legends live all the time

  • @OffensiveHonkey Im gonna see zeppelin perform in the afterlife... i can feel it.. lol

  • I saw them live in 1970

  • @terrybrookman i envy you.

  • Maybe Beethoven has re-incarnated as Page.....? (As for rip-off it is credited as a cover on the album, nothing wrong with that)

  • Maybe Beethoven has re-incarnated as Page.....?

  • did not know a thing about Led Zeppelin... I'm huge fan of classics, especially of the mater himself, Ludwig van Beethoven.

I just stumbled upon this... coming to think of it, I bet you guys a million bucks that Ludwig's now in heaven headbanging to Led Zeppelin...

  • I`m sitting here drinking some Absolute and jamming out to Led Zeppelin . Man they don`t make them like they use to .
