Fresno State Baseball Miracle

2008 was such a fun year to watch Fresno State baseball. You guys got the job done.

Even more amazing.....Fresno State started the season 8-12......I dont know if Arizona State has lost 12 games the last three or four years.

What is really amazing is that.....we called it a miracle at this point.....think about it......we went on to win the College World Series. This was already a miracle at this point.....but think about how big it REALLY was AFTER IT ALL.

Class of 99 and 07 with my masters. This is why I stuck with CSUF. Our classiest kids got what they deserved. Got it done in the classroom and the field. What other CWS school can say that?

I am a Fresno State student and proud to be for life. I am very proud that our university representing our own town along with the Central Valley won the College World Series. I am proud of Fresno State Baseball Team!!! Way to go and keep up the pride and the hard works!!! Believe in yourself!!!!

hahahahaha thats what you get gordon beckham. selling fresno state short. i heard on the radio that he said something like (this is after the announcer asked what his thoughts are on fresno state) "well they have bats but the pitching is very shaky and i think me and the guys will get them fast. not too many of them have power numbers. they hit at clutch times but its only enough for the win" ha ha ha! selling fresno state short we gave them a beating and we should have won the first game.

It's time for a fan of the other bulldog team to come on here to tell you how it is......... You whipped our asses the last 2 games, and you guys earned every bit of this title. I don't think anyone will ever cherish a championship like Fresno State will. It took so much heart and determination to come out and prove everyone wrong (except yourselves). You guys fought it out and took the ultimate prize. Congratulations Fresno State. I'm at least glad to see the champion was a Bulldog. haha

It's cool that Georgia fans are giving FS credit. What I noticed about Georgia is that in football, some say they should have played for the national championship (no offense to LSU). They almost play for it in football and in baseball they were right there. What a great program to do that in 1 yr. I'm down here in Austin and the Longhorns did it in baseball and football just a couple of years ago. Augie was there. Great job to both the Fresno State Bulldogs and to the Georgia Bulldogs program.
