FZ100 video quality is excellent (really)...the issue is having software that will play it. The AVCHD format won't play in any video editing software that I have (Studio 9, Windows Movie Maker, Arcsoft or Intervideo Movie...will only play if converted into a different format. To overcome this, I presently record in HD, still good quality but less recording time compared to AVCHD. I run a 16gb SDHC card so it isn't really an issue. I'll post some HD video for you to look at.
