The USA Metal Movement isn't what it once was.Lets face it,it sucks,big time.Germany has always been a better place for Heavy Metal.The US is now the home of candy ass music,ask any Heavy Metal band why they don't play in the USA.I wish it was different,but it isn't.There may be a few good/great bands that still tour here in the US but it isn't what it used to be!!! Sorry about being so blunt,but it's the truth.

You're right - US bands do metalcore, thrash and stuff, but they're not doing the melodic heavy metal sound well.

just go to waken festival im going 2010 its only like a 1200 dollar return ticket plus whatever it cost to get into waken... if you love ur metal as much as i do it is way worth it... at the end of it itll only cost 3 grand for the whole trip im hoping lol
