it is factual that RP supported Reagan before he was president, because Reagan was spouting big game as if he were for small gov't at the time before he was prez. Some people are misunderstanding the message of this ad.
1. Reagan was called "unelectable", was elected.
2. Rick Perry was the campaign chair for Al Gore in Texas.
This pointing out that Ron Paul liked Reagan's message is absolutely accurate. Reagan had a great message, not unlike Paul's, but that soon changed after he was shot. Ron later spoke of how disappointed he was in Reagan.
Being compared to Reagan is seen as positive to 51% of Americans. He is running for President, gentlemen.

Well the AD does a couple of things :
- It reminds ppl of the fact that (much like Paul):Reagan was called "too old", "too extreme" & "unelectable" Yet he won the office anyway. Living proof that the mainstream media was incorrect in this regard to Paul
- It shows that Perry is not what he seems, and might pull a Bu$h or 0bama where they say one thing while campaigning but do quite the opposite when in office

Some people are misunderstanding the message of this ad.
1. Reagan was called "unelectable", was elected.
2. Rick Perry was the campaign chair for Al Gore in Texas.
This pointing out that Ron Paul liked Reagan's message is absolutely accurate. Reagan had a great message, not unlike Paul's, but that soon changed after he was shot. Ron later spoke of how disappointed he was in Reagan.
Being compared to Reagan is seen as positive to 51% of Americans. He is running for President, gentlemen.

The ones who should get the tax breaks are the middle class, NOT THE RICH! The rich invest in corporations. The Middle class invest in small enterprises. Corporations create poverty by using shear volume to drive down prices and then move the money out of a community. Small business don't do that and keep the money in the community. It's real simple.

To me the ad shows Ron Paul's staunch support for the principles of liberty. The ad did not say that Ron Paul believed in Reagen, it said that he believed "in Reagen's message." However, the ad shows Perry as the duplicitous wavering between left and right. Everyone knows that Reagen broke his promises, but the ad shows that the principles he once espoused is still alive in Congressman Paul; which is plainly evident by his voting record.

In their minds, we are a lost cause, a sinking ship. Businesses are bailing out, leaving the country. We no longer serve a purpose as an 'Exceptional' nation, therefore, we are to service the rest of the world to bring them up to standards, even at the cost of reducing our standards.

@NorEEzta It's only like that because of a monetary system, created and continued so we can all borrow our way into the future. Once you get rid of the borrowing scheme, globally, then the national deficit becomes pointless. We shouldn't need to borrow, we should help one another. We should only never borrow currency to develop an economy. It should be used or taken to make it happen. I think the burden of pollutions is enough to deal with, a national deficit on top of it!
