  • A brilliant performance. All the actors were amazing but I have to point out the brilliant Bob Peck. To play the loud, larger than life, and lovable John Brown to the slimy Mulberry Hawk is nothing short of genius. Do you have more of the show, maybe with the acting troupe or Frank Cherryble?

  • "Clever girl."

  • this was on NRK Norway when I was young loved it. thank's

  • I just ordered the DVDs for this series, but I can't wait for them to get here! I would love to see more clips if anyone knows where they can be found.

  • I'll never forget seeing this on PBS ! ! !

  • AH! Childhood memories! Best version ever! :)

  • I watched this on TV in Sweden when I was 12 and was spell bound. Now I have found it on DVD and just saw it again. I love it just as much 28 years later. Newman Noggs for president!

  • I LOVE this play! XD

  • There are no better productions of Dickens' characters than this production of Nickleby, and that of Alastair Sim's Scrooge.

  • I love the book and this clip!! How can you not just love Dickens?

  • Absolutely spectacular show. A&E released it on video, but they did a horrid job editing it, and it's spliced into hour long segments. Hopefully one day they'll re-release it, but it is still worth having, even cut up. Can always skip the credits right? A must see!

  • do you have any more of this????

  • Remember seeing this years ago on the TV - great to find it on the tube; Thanks for posting.

  • my favorite version of nicholas!
