Thats a problem with the iron cobra's! you have to buy the piece between the shaft and the beater if you want to make 2 single pedals... not a quick fix

I got that pedal the limited chrome cobra. it ran me about 550$ and i got it down from like 760$ and i live in sweden so drumshit here costs me a shitload but I have to say it is the best pedal ive tried and ive had it for about 10months and i gig with it like every weekend its got a certain funk too it but once you get used to it its really cool

the hitters are not meant to be at the centre of the drum, if they are then the waves spread through the drum evenly, hit the edges, and return to the middle at the same time and cancel each other out, greatly reducing resonance, hitting off centre means the waves spread out and hit the edges of the drum at different times meaning they dont cancel out allowing for greater resonance and power, learnt this the other day cos had often wondered the same thing. hope it makes sense!!!

at around 2.00 you kinda lost beat on the last kick i found that when that happens a simple toe heel technique makes for a much easier and better timed transition with triplets

for speed and control, i recomend you the rolling glides... those are more intuitive as the power glide are most heavy feel like pedal.....

I use velcro under my iron cobra pedals along with the spikes already on them. i also use a rug which is just for the drumkit. the velcro sticks to it like glue. thats should solve ur problem with the pedal sliding fwd.

So your pedal is sliding to the front. There is a thing u can buy that clamps on like the right pedal with the bass and it has to spikes and it stops it from sliding forward. It stopped mine. U can also just buy some Velcro from like Lowes or Home Depoit and jut put it on the bottom of the pedal and it also stops it. As long as u have carpet under is or a mat.
