the range with pumpkins was about 70 yards, a 2 litre water bottle goes 100 yards, I have found that the projectile needs to be consistant and symetrical in order to come out of the sling the same every time, if you want accurate shots,

thanks, this is my own design, no plans, if you take out a handful of bolts and the axle pin, the whole thing breaks down and fits in a pickup, the counterweight is a stack of concrete, the sling is just a square of denim gathered at the ends and knotted to the rope, it actually threw quite well on the very first shot, the only tweaking was to make the sling longer to maximize range it will throw a projectile consistantly with repeatable accuracy.

You should make a chainmaille sling and make what I like to call "molotov pumpkins"

@kingocarina my other two videos are molotov pumpkins, the cotton sling only flames for a bit and is easily put out, you must be SCA also, thanks
