F-22 is unstoppable. stealth is enough. but match that with mach 2.5 speed, excellent fire control systems, radar jamming, and thrust vectoring. nothing can top it. F-22 and the F-15 are the most dominant fighters on earth.
I usually give Russians shit here but they have awesome aircraft as well. The Su-35/37 and Mig-35 are very good. Exceptional manouverability. The Rafale and the Typhoon are also excellent. The Su-30MKI is also good. The F-18 Super Hornet is also good and the F-16 Block 50/52+, Block 60. Ok this list is just going to grow lol i better stop here.
so let me complete it then. SU-47, MIG-29, F-117, B-2, A-10, F-15 Silent Eagle lockheed, northrop, mikoyan, and sukoi really know how to make planes. i think we got them all. all the good ones at least.

I didnt know Tupolev Design B. made fighters. You dont need the Su-47. Su-35/37 and the PAK FA will be more then enough. Price wise anywayz and during peace time. Fighters are very expensive to built these days. Even the US struggles.

well on the right time of day, visual range isnt possible cuz it's the color of the sky. not baby blue. but a realistic shade. silver technacally. and you could see it on radar and infared. but it would be faded and about the size of a quantum bird.

Raytheon is making a Block II version of the AIM-9X. It will seek the target once its outside the Raptor from what i know. The Block I's cant be carried internally (seeker head cant see target) same deal for the F-35. The AIM-9M's are ok to use.

Theres only one type of 5th gen fighter in service. AIM-9X works perfectly on the outside of most of the US fighters :) The F-35A Block 3 will be able to fire the Block 2 Sidewinder from what i read. Confusing? Ye i know ha. Hehehe
Sidewinders started from the "A" model i think? There up to the "M"+ models. The Russian R-74E Archer works better then the AIM-9M. It has trust vectoring or jet vein control or whateva else they call it these days.

yes they can. however the pilot has the benefit of not getting his eyes sucked out cause of the g's. that's why lockheed martin gave it thrust vectoring. they obviously knew that the air force would make it so that it would be safe with pilots.
Human tolerance to GILOC (gravity induced loss of consciousness) is on average 3-4 g's. Highly trained and practiced pilots can put up with 7-8 g's.
After that it kinda becomes irrelevant. But yes F-22 can far surpass what the human body can endure. Thanks for fly-by-wire technology at least they don't have to worry about making the plane lose control.

At visual range stealth is not valid as much. You can track the Raptor at visual range both radar but mainly infared.

F22 is beasty but it's also a sham and a toast. For every hours it flies, maintenance is 30 hours, or even up to 60 hours.
Our enemies no longer need to shoot the F22 down, just shoot the damn maintenance center and it's all over.
