You know wad I really loved about Golden Suns Battle Scenes? Its when You Charge up for a very powerful move. The Orbs that Charge into your hero when you use ragnorak, unleash artifacts etc. THAT is the coolest part of Golden Sun.

In my high school they basically forced us to learn about christianity, it gave like 1 section out of the book to other religions and 9 others to christianity. It's in my schools, its being shouted at me in the early mornings on weekends by jehovas witnesses, its on the tv, the last place i want it to be is in a video game.

I understand how you feel, and I've been a follower of science after getting out of the brainwashed mantra when I was a child. It's hard to find great RPGs that have a neutral feel to their stories, instead of always bending to being dark/light. It should be more about characters, than just straight up saving the world. When I beat FFVII, I felt like I beat Sephiroth for what he did to everyone.

As for FF Tactics, I think they only made some tweaks here and there but ultimately kept the graphics which are from the original on the PSX, and the DS has more Raw power than the PSX not to mention Cel-Shading support.

While it looks amazing, one thing I can see grating on my nerves is the attack sound effect. I don't know, it just seems too...deep I guess? Other than that, it looks amazing. They did an especially good job with the summons, especially Ramses (Who was rather bland in the previous games). Definitely looking forward to this, just one more day. :D

@AkemiCaffeine Well, I think the real separation comes from the Djinn system in terms of mechanics. The number and kinds of Djinn you have "equipped" determine your class, and modify your stats, and using the Djinn changes the modifications, because you "unequip" the Djinn to use it, but once you use it, you can summon. For example, by maximizing the usefulness of my classes and spells I beat the final boss in GS without ever "using" a Djinn. It just opens possiblilities, and makes you think.

I noticed at 2:17 you see Tyrell choosing to us psynergy on the skeleton, but after the skeleton died he automatically switched to the other monster. that's awesome! in the earlier games if a monster died when you were set to attack it, you didn't get to attack at all.

It's kind of a good/bad thing depending on how you look at it. You really have to plan ahead and know your enemies to avoid that in the first games. Not having to do that dumbs down the strategy and makes it easier, imo.

It's not that big of a deal though. The "purists" among us simply have to play like we did the first two games to minimize auto-switch attacking.

@AkemiCaffeine The only way to really answer that question would be for you to just play the first 2 Golden Sun games. The series had some incredible graphics at the time for the GBA. The story is intriguing, the characters are likable and memorable, the music is a fucking epic, and the gameplay is insanely fun. It's just a very original RPG series. One word describes the series - Masterpiece.

OMG, this guy............ why the hell does he keep spamming weapon attacks with the magic user and magic attacks with the weapon user? Honestly I almost never used normal attacks after the beginning of the game unless the monsters were uber weak.

I really do hope that the Djinn chain summons are as epic as its GBA predecessors. Iris, Charon and that one other one I forgot FTW!! I need to play this game again >.>
