  • Joan is terrific :)

  • Rear projection looks a little fake.

  • RIP Richard Basehart!!

  • @MouseQueen86 YES A GREAT ACTOR

  • There is something that is simply awesome about the Love Boat. I used watch it with my parents when I was growing up - it sure brings me back to see this. Saturday nights with The Love Boat and then Fantasy Island - what a night of tv. :O) BTW: Love boat theme song is perhaps one of the best these songs ever (IMHO).

  • I used to watch reruns of The Love Boat with my parents when I was very little. Perhaps for many people somewhat dated and cheesy now , but still nice and charming (or maybe because of that). I would defnitely rewatch this if they'd reran it.

  • Joan Fontaine appeared in the film version of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Richard Basehart in the TV version.

  • Joan Fontaine is incredible here. She was in her mid-sixties!

  • @mahler71 she's in her mid sixties there? wow... did she age incredible... she looks more like she's in here 50s at the most !!

  • @alexrogan1 Joan Fontaine was born in 1917 and this was filmed in 1981 which makes her sixty-four here. She is still alive and so is her sister the actress Olivia de Havilland who played Melanie in "Gone With The Wind." Unfortunately she and her sister don't get on...

  • I am a huge fan of Joan Fontaine she is GORGEOUS

  • Joan Fontaine is gorgeous. I've only seen her in black & white movies up till now. Wow.

  • Richard Baseheart watches over us all.

  • when did he died?

  • What I'm saying is, if there was a movie about God, I'd cast him as God, or John Stamos.

  • richard as god is a great idea!epsecially for his loud tremble voice...but why john stamos?

  • Why not John Stamos. He's a good actor.

  • ofcourse he is but not to play god!

  • Mmmm, now that I think about it it probably wouldn't be the most fitting roll for him

  • I really enjoyed this vintage TV episode. It has some substance to it.

  • Joan Fontaine is such a fine actress as witnessed here. TY for the video.
