Now, maybe if we had a law stating that in order to own a dog it MUST be trained this breed would not be such a problem. Pitbulls along with Chihuahuas are like the easiest dogs to get. Which is why there is a large quantity of them and since ppl don't train there pits properly and there is some many of them. They're the biggest problem.

Ok, of course they are cute as babies. I mean most dogs are. It's when they get older and turn in to adults is when they become a problem. Now, i'm not saying it's the breed that's the problem. No, it's the dumb owners who don't train and socialize their dogs with other dogs, ppl, kids, etc... So when they get out they go nuts seeing the outside world and bite ppl.

Agreed wholeheartedly. Even the rescued ones who were trained to fight but now have loving homes are just absolutely a joy. I rescued mine, and sure, he may not be sociable with animals, but he's still the best dog I could ask for.

I also adopted a pitbull. Her name was Molly. I miss her a lot. She was beaten before me. Her owner tried to make her a fighter dog. Unfortunately, she was VERY aggressive towards other animals, so I just took proper measures. However, she was the most loving dog EVER and VERY protective of me. She was there for me through a lot of heartache and pain. It's funny, but she used to know when I was sad and come up to me when I cried and push her head into my cheek . *sigh* I miss her sooo much! :(
