This song has more meaning than some people believe. I studied it in school with my class and it actually talks about Irelands struggle for freedom from British rule. Like the fact there was a Irish British war in 1919-1920. The main part is about how the rest of the world turned a blind eye. Idk about you, but I never learned about and Irish British war.

the thing that makes Slane Castle the best live performance is that there was something in the air that night that you don't feel at most concerts. its very undescribable. Even almost a decade later the show never gets old.
