    who gives a fuck if he uses steroids? this isnt baseball, football, basketball... this is a sport where steroids are frequent.. just bc other mainstream sports dont use steroids doesnt mean every sport/acitivity ever shouldnt.... bodybuilding obviously allows it and you need it to perform at a high level.. if your career is a bodybuilder and your goal is to win the Olympia then youre going to get into steroids at some point..

  • @acharris2005 Actually when you see Jay off stage he's not all that tan. Decent color, but not very tan. You do know these guys do a self tanner or air brush before shows, right? That's why they always look so dark, not from constant tanning.

  • They both are a good choice to mix it up, underhand is more for the lower lats and center traps and you get that good squeeze, and overhand is more for the upper lats and traps, as well as some rear delts! Good for a width exercise! But mix it up try both!!!

  • Ronnie coleman can't even talk, he sounds like a uneducated overdosed freak. When i say asset i mean , body, personality, devotion to the sport, well spoken and educated. Someone that can hold a converstation for a long period of time and not have the brain the size of a PEANU. You watch Ronnie colemans interviews and listen to his answers.   • Flex, Kevin, and Shawn were great bodybuilders, well spoken, though where are the Mr Olympia titles. All respect to Flex he shopuld of won against coleman in 1999 hands down. Noone has ever had the title lost it and got it back except for Jay.

    All the pro's are great, but some better then others!

  • I have to admit this is one time where he DEFINITELY deserved to win the Mr. Olympia. He came in pretty much the best shape I've seen him in since about 2004.

  • Calves are one of those muscles in which you can train them multiple times a week, unlike the bigger muscle groups. Many find it effective to train the calves 3 to 4 times a week.

    Straps are for pussies? Is that why all the top bodybuilders in the world use them? it's so you lift more weight and do more reps than normal.

    Meaning that they allow me to train harder and lift heavier than before and allowing me to gain in muscle size.

    It's great if you don't want to use straps. But if i can only do 3 plate barbell shrugs without straps and 4 plate 25 with straps, then obviously I'd prefer to use straps.

  • straps are a must when your grip goes out, also for a hook grip they are a must to isolate the back and take the biceps out of the movement

  • Alot of great bodybuilders have small wrists. If your wrists are small your grip will always be limited. Not everyone has indestructable heman joints.

  • I work back the day after biceps. I never go heavy on back. Can't do it. Kills the lower head of the biceps. Once that thing gets toughened up there's no going back. I need to start going heavy on back but I'd have to back off training biceps every 3rd week.

  • Because I train biceps together with triceps. Always. Blood volume and full arm pump. The easisest solution is to pair back with biceps but I won't do that because I like training biceps and triceps together too much.
