When I lived in Bridgwater the carnival was good but nothing like this! The Wurzels meet Mardi Gras. Oo Arrrr. Señor!

I love this video. It really shows what Bridgwater carnival is really about. I was in this carnival but with the majorettes and the atmosphere is amazing, which is why I enjoy it so much. This year is my first year on a float so i'm already getting excited and there's still 72 days to go til this years carnival.

First time went to Bridgwater so good went to Weston. Thx for posting will always bring back great times. PS what camera did you use. Good colour and sound and of course excellent director. Well done in difficult conditions.

@taffcad I used my trusty Canon HV20, well known for great picture quality, onboard mic as well, just a tripod to hold it steady and a bit of fiddling with the manual settings to stop the people on the float getting under exposed

Hi x2brainsx Thanks for the info will definately check out. Maybe father Xmas will drop one in. Have ment to get across from south wales for over 20 years but always seemed to remember too late. Having now seen the Carnival I know I have really missed out so will not miss next year x 2. Highly recommend trip to anyone that wants a great night out.

just had a look, not too bad an effort, although its not youtube hd... and ok i'm being picky but you have put widescreen footage in a square screen frame, hence it has become letterboxed. Fix those issues and you'll be sorted, let me know if you need help with that

Thanks for making this, I used to live in bridgwater and now i live in cornwall where the carnivals are about 30 minutes long and take place in the afternoon and they are extremely crap. Its great to be able to see them and i really appreciate the time and effprt put into it! :)
