i love say anything, hate everyone is like one of my favorites, i need to listen to a few others, been 4-ever since ive heard cemetary, i gotta say i disagree with young dumb and stung, great song but u know thats just my opinon. i havent listened to elouise or however u spell it. and i also havent really gotten into the whole background stuff, just listen to their music. great vid, very upbeat and nice to hear. btw NO ONE that has heard this get me a birthday present >.< lol

i love this album. hate everyone on the secret origins has different lyrics instead of "the pills i ate for breakfast" and its the funniest thing ever, i dont wanna give it away, but if anyone knows what im talking about... and i love the bonus tracks "i could be president" and "truth serum" really catchy stuff, i hope they re-release those as complete songs instead of just acoustic some time. weird that you didnt like eloise as much, i think it's my favorite track

At first I didnt like this album but Its slowly creeping up there for me. I honestly love the secret origins better than the actual album. Ive always loved Say Anything acoustic better than the album material. After first being disappointed with the album Im starting to really love. Though, I would like to know whether or not Max was knocking on The Kings of Leon. The lyrics are what makes this album.

Max's lyrics are the best things to have ever existed. The man's a genius.

It's one of those albums (like ...Is A Real Boy) where I up the rating of each song every time I listen through it. My favourite's are:

Less Cute - best chorus, and I totally agree with you about the beginning of the second verse

Eloise - love the chorus, and the spoken word

Mara and Me - love the backing vocals/yelling =P

Cemetery - love Sherri Dupree's backing vocals
