  • When one squishes the bug one applies one's rear side weight down& restricts one's forward weight transfer.

Natester2009, Yes, everyone does have their own technique which in many cases needs to have some adjustments made within, lifting one's foot or trying to acquire power from a longer stride is a fallacy, power comes from the hips with a combination of linear and rotational body movements executed in proper sequence.

  • This is THE worst batting advice one could give much less hear. Please ignore EVERYTHING in this video and find someone who knows what they are talking about. I challenge anyone to find even a single major leaguer or college ball player that squash's the bug. Many time theri back foot is in the air as they contact the ball.

  • I know....Everbody has their own technique. I lift my foot up way higher to generate more power. And I cant do 2 handed followthroguh. Ive never really needed any training or tips...Ever since Ive picked up a bat Ive been great. So for me its kinda hard to give or take tips. All I do is my own technique and hit the ball nothing more nothing less...They make it seem more difficult than it is...Because its very simple well for me anyway.

  • This is a good example of what NOT TO DO. Pretend you never watched this and move on.
