well, take his music, from the beginning he made fun, gaming related songs, with a lot of love.
as soon as he got famous, he remade all his songs with mainstream bullshit texts, like "all i ever wanted" wtf is that about. orginally it was a tribute to DOTA.

If you listened to his new album you would see that he is trying to please both audiences. Although he sings in english, most of it is heavy bass with classic Basshunter synths.

However, he never ignores all his past songs, and he constantly gives credit to Boten Anna being the song that got him to where he is today. Artists change, you either listen to their old stuff, new stuff, or both, and in Basshunter's case he got too many fans to completely go back to Swedish lyrics. Plane to Spain from his new album is a good tribute to the type of music he made before :)
