The akuma/gouki player was Eita. Dunno why he was playing so horrible but its probably how some people get when they play someone with high skill. But Eita is still a very good player :P
@Haterofallhaters Then you my good friend need a chart of all the jap players with their faces on it so you can know who the hell is playing next time you're in japan....dumbass
@TrOuBLeZ911 Ohhh them words hurt, you a tough e-thug. I bet you go around trollin calling everyone dumbass, not knowing you're the real dumbass here.
If we're talking about 4:26, I don't know what the arguing is about, you can option select, hit confirm, and buffer the super all at once. But I don't think there was any OS in there, if so you would have seen a poke come out first. He just buffered the super while cr. mking then saw the mk hit so he hit punch, pretty simple, that would be a hit confirm too.
Like someone else said earlier, he was buffering the super while doing cr.mk. So when it hit, it would come out. You could say that he saw that it hit and followed with super, or he may have done it anyway as it does a ok amount of chip on block and is safe.
@EasierToRun09 You need to watch 3rd strike video's. You'd be surprised what these players can react to. Also, you're thinking of a dry reaction, with human reaction time averaging at .2 seconds, and I'd agree with you. However, it isn't a dry reaction, he's looking for the move to connect, and it isn't that hard to twitch the input, or refrain from twitching, purely on visual reaction.
Just watch some 3rd strike video's and you'll understand.
@EasierToRun09 Actually... it's not a hit confirm either. Hit confirming is prolonging the inital hits of a combo to allow your brain to catch up to whether or not the first move hit, before linking or cancelling into a riskier (when whiffed or blocked) special or other move.
The cr mk > Super was Daigo buffering the Super motion into the cr mk, and on reaction doing the final input when he saw that the cr mk had hit.
I disagree with you here, it's the same concept as doing c.mk > fireball. The motion will come out, but no special cancel will come out of it. I think he was buffering the motion, and expecting a focus attack from the opponent, in the same way.... essentially doing: D, F, D (c.mk) F > Super.
I respect Daigo's ability to the nth degree, but it's humanly impossible to react to that hit, in what looks like less than a 10th of a second. I think that super was coming out regardless.
Trust me, that's a hit confirm. He buffers the entire motion of the super into his cr. forward and then drums all 3 fingers across the punch buttons when he sees that it hits. Well it's SF4, so you probably don't need to piano roll, but yeah. In 3rd Strike that kind of confirm is made many times a game.
Jesus fucking christ. I can feel the frustration they're having against Daigo. The guy is on a completely different level. Every single thing you do and he finds some way to punish it.
for the next stream they should make the game screen a bit smaller and the room camera larger. also the title a bit bigger so its atleast as large as the 2 screens combined. and maybe show a bit more of the background picture.

That's actually a hit confirm, not an OS. You can't really OS a c.mk like that. The more you know~
