Unboxing and Setting up of my Belkin Laptop Cooling Pad

Hi, i am going to invest in one soon so i was hoping if you can tell me if it really helps. My 17 inch sony is heating up due to the summer climate and i am not able to do much work trying not to overload the system. just let me know if it cools the system down to a point where the vaio fan doesn't run overtime. Thanks

im getting the exact same cooling pad as you one of the reasons why laptops overheat is that if you go on it often it starts getting really hot

ive heard a lot of stuff about these. Since is usb..it really drains the power right out of your laptop...just like the xbox 360 fan. Just like dieing a slow death. Im a gamer. A computer gamer lol. The fans in computers/game systems/ do exactly what they are made to do..cool your system. And that works just fine

But most processors on laptops don't have much of powerful fans. That's how they have a higher risk of overheating.

Yea my laptop's fan SUCKS! Its overheated like 10 times and even when I have it laying on a table playing a game it sometimes gets really HOT, the fan starts going crazy and the FPS drops up to 30! I got this and it seems very good. Who cares about battery power? Use the Ac adapter or dont use the pad..
