He is resisting arrest, he's armed with 2 deadly weapons and an obvious threat to the community if he can escape. Cobra subdued a violent criminal, the fact he was thrown into a fire pit was tragic, but not improper. If the Slasher dropped his weapons and complied with orders to surrender, Cobra would have used excessive force by smoking an unarmed compliant man is, no matter how wicked he is. Besides, the Hunters are still at large, maybe he had good info on their ID

I say that Stallone three very impressive, intense & muscle bound manifestations---Cobra, Rambo & Rocky---had way more to do with it! For no doubt the Night Slasher was more Fearsome & Formidable than any soldiers that the Russians had at their disposal, yet Cobra took him out nice & good! For it was those three that brought down the Russian Empire!

Little do most people realize, the entire fate of modern civilization hung in the balance all throughout this final scene! I mean if the main Night Slasher won that final power struggle/fight at the end, we'd all be living under this very oppressive & ruthless dictatorship right now, at the mercy of the Night Slasher's every sick, tyrannical whim! Yes, we'd all be slaves to His will, to his evil desires. Though Cobra prevailed, and civilization as we know it was saved. At least for now!

What a lovely, sweet & very pleasant way to pass on into the next lifetime! Actually, as far as I'm concerned, the main Night Slasher got off real easy, way too easy (I know, I know, it's only this silly & stupid movie)! For I'd love to sick Jimmy Coonan & the rest of his lovely, crazy, savage & maddog Irish lads after the Night Slasher & his whole fuckin pussy gang (for they got off real easy when compared to what the Westies would've done to em!)! This is definitely the type of movie that you really want to bring little children to. I mean it's so sweet, feel-good, lovely & innocent, as it's full of so many adorable, cuddly & child-like characters that are so driven by affection & these warm, fuzzy emotions!!! Maybe PBS will air this movie sometime next week, during the children's hour, right between Big Bird & Curious George. I mean what 3 or 4 year old wouldn't wish to see Stallone hoist the lead slasher onto this industrial hook?

This is (what I would consider) the best scene in the movie. I really like the way Stallone's character took out the FUCK bad guy (Night Slasher) by literally sticking him onto a hook and torching his PUTRID NORTH CAROLINA ASS!
