  • there are many diferent ways to do brasilian rice . but the secret is the amount of water

  • That looks good, im gonna try that..I might throw some hamburg into it too..

    beijao

    kiki

  • @kikimiami Gostei da dica! Posso acrescentar? Compre, de preferência, arroz tipo agulhinha, e nunca parboilizado! Na minha opinião, fica bem melhor...

E a dica principal: NUNCA, NUNCA mexa no arroz enquanto estiver cozinhando na água! Se vc mexer, ele solta a goma que faz o arroz ficar "unidos venceremos"!

  • I was at a brazilian churrascaria in San Diego, CA and I ate this rice that had meat in it, but it was seasoned. Do you know of any recipes like that? Oh and they had a really yummy brazilian cola, but I don't know the name. It was in a green can and started with a g...

  • The cola is `Guaraná`, brazilian fruit that they make the cola. Sure it is `Guaraná Antártica`, of the green can. And the rice probably is `Arroz Carreteiro`, very good!

  • Okay thank you sososoooo much!!!!

  • Probably it was "Arroz Carreteiro". Jerkey, linguiça...

  • guarana! =] they sell in in the brasilian stores and bakeries in america =]

  • Finally I've found a recipe of Brazilian rice. The best ever! :D

    Parabéns pelo vídeo.

  • Would you marry me?

  • Not if I'm going to end up cooking for you all the time - I'm not falling for that one... again ;-)

  • Nando, você é a simpatia em pessoa... suas receitas são simples, objetivas, e traduzem fielmente o nosso jeitinho de fazer as coisas. Agora, about the wedding, relax! I'll never fall in love again, oh no! ahahahahaha.. Kisses from faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away São Paulo.

  • @nandocuca

yeah right thats what i said to my husband!!!! LOL

  • @nandocuca jajjaja youre funny!

  • gostei do chorinho de fundo

  • I just made this after watching your show. It was simple and tasted pretty good. Thanks

  • i have prepared this last night and it really good..

  • mm amo arroz!!

  • yo tmb

  • It's very simple:

The right amount of water is twice the amount of rice.

Ex. for every cup of rice, add 2 cups of water.

Personally, after adding water I turn down the heat to avoid the risk of burning it.

    It's SO delish!

  • Good job, it is pretty much the way rice is prepared in Brasil. As mingbrasil said, make sure you don't add too much water to avoid getting a risotto instead of fluffy rice.

  • Congratulations!!! I'm Brazilian and prepared our rice in France the same way you teach here.

  • good recipe, one thing though beaware of the amount of water you add, too much water makes it bad.

  • Hmmmm.... delícia!

  • This sounds so delish. I am going to try it. Thanks for posting this. Love recipes :)
