It's pretty useless. I use it on vezax and Freya (to help snare Snaplasher both of us go frostfire.)

I dual spec 20/51/0 and "whatever spec I need for the current hardmode." In ulduar I had about 5 "secondary specs" I changed between when doing the hardmodes pre-nerf.

Yes there are many effects up top that make you lose sanity, almost all out of your control (unlike the portals where better play can often reduce your sanity loss.)

The difficulty with Algalon is that you only have 1 hour a week for your raid to learn and progress - Where as most Ulduar raiding guilds assign 1 night a week to Vezax and Yogg only grinding for 4 hours straight

Algalons tactics and mechanics are very easy - His phases short and uncomplicated in comparison to Yogg Saron.

The hardest part of Algalon is unlocking him, and the second hardest part is having to learn the encounter very quickly. - but once youve got it he will be a reliabel farm

Yea, he isn't as hard as many people thought, considering he was nick named the raid destroyer when he first came out. Downing him just takes a week or 2 to learn the mechanics.

The biggest part of it, if everyone knows their jobs, is healing the tank. Algalon attacks so fast and hits like several trucks. XD

PVP is just as scripted as PVE. Knowing what abilities a boss has is the same as knowing the abilities as other people. Like knowing a resto druid is going to have a lot of hots and will go travel form to run away. Only difference is pve has aggro so you can force mobs to attack certain people, but in pvp you might get it easy because a lot of people are noobs and don't realize some of their own abilities. People pvp because they are horrible and can't do pve.

Everyone who claims that pve is super easy because the fights are 'scripted' are just jealous because they can't kill the 'easy' bosses. The proof is on their armory where the don't have any ahcievements for killing the bosses. If these scripted fights are so easy, how come these people rarely have any achievements for killing any of these scripted fights? Because they are horrible and can't do it.

This video kicks tankspot's video's ass. The editing is 100x better than anything ever put out by tankspot and provides far more information. That's not to say Ciderhelm or Lore aren't helpful, but this is simply better.

Played by a computer (with no errors) Arcane can almost match fire.

In the cases where you need directed burst on a short fight, arcane is superior. None of those cases exist in the hard-modes though. (if your guild is having problems on normal mode naxx it might be useful.)

Arcane incurs more risk in general.

Finally, parts of Ulduar involve encounter-specific buffs. Many of these are haste/crit based, which arcane doesn't benefit enough from relative to other specs.

Just a small note. Death Ray is actually 20000 dmg/ZERO SECOND, this translates into instant death.
