This guy drive me nuts 1v1, I can't beat this without using bombs... What do you recommend as a weapon?

I've already tried with a Fire Fongsword and Elementless Lance.

try use sword and shield for more agile.

yea im new to monster hunter and my friend told me to check it out and it looks awesome cant wait untill comes out in europe

the hammer is 2 slow

hammer is still pretty good just that its not a good weapon choice against fast opponent like beri on a team play too. (team play beri will always switch target after each atk which makes it hard for you to super pound him on the face)
