yes it ruins it but out of all the videos i saw on youtube about how to make a margarita half didn't had a clue how to make it, some adds apples (wtf apples), lemon (instead of lime), sugar can syrup (...) and other says that you put the salt on the half of the rim of the glass because its for decoration only (did they ever drink tequila in their like?), and those people are supposed to be pro barmen...
I agree that I don't know who taught her how to make a rita but when you bang your tin on the side of the bar it releases the suction and makes the glass slide out. You don't have to put a rita in the rocks on a rocks glass. Most bars use the pint glass like she used.

Sweet and Sour? Just use fresh lime juice, and if you really MUST muddle, don't do it with ice (TIMMY!). And your muddler was upside down. Serve STRAIGHT UP in a chilled martini glass with salted rim. My boss would fire you.
In germany we differ between cocktailglasses and cocktailcups. i dont know the international name, so i used one i hoped that everybody could understand.

no cointreau is not great, changing the quality of the liquor changes the name and strength of the margarita. Just like if you use grandmarnier, you don't put it in the margarita until last..................jebus!

that was so WRONG.
ok first, if that margarita was on the rocks it should have been in a ROCK glass, otherwise it belongs in a margarita glass with NO ice.
secondly, who muddles limes into a margarita?
lastly, cups do sometimes get stuck when you're mixing drinks because of the suction, but why would you bang the GLASS against the bar?
she does look like gwenth though, possibly the only reason i endured this video.

Made about every mistakes one can make while doing a Margarita.
What I know about Margarita:
1) Use silver, 100% de agave tequila
2) Use fresh lime juice
3) Use chilled cocktail / margarita glass
4) Served straight up
I won't say the 'thing' she made is bad, but it should n't be referred as the Margarita.
