Good, extensive review. I like the way you handle the shortcomings constructively and offer suggestions, rather than just trashing it. Glad I subbed - looking forward to more vids!
@PGTMan Thank you! That is exactly the message I try to emphasize to both the company and the potential buyer. Specific constructive criticism, which hopefully will lead to a better, more improved product.
Have you got a review of the CM Centurion 590? I've got one and I think it smokes most mid tower cases(in terms of cooling and working capacity, being a budget case - only a frontal filter and no sound proofing), and apart from the sound insulation - probably this one too(granted - no CPU back plate hole). In my opinion, for 80 USD the 590 will do a better job(with mATX and ATX). I think more companies should take on CM's approach to budget cases. It's the way forwards.
Good review James, maybe a little to animated at times....but still nice job
Now for the case, IMO what a hunk of junk......I haven't seen a In Win case that I even remotely liked. But I guess when a company sends you a product to review you need to find some of the strong points, unfortunately there weren't many here and even some of the things you said that you did like was IMO probably stretching the truth. lol
@WestCoastMods The fact that they sent me this does nothing to sway my verdict. I think I've been rather tough of a grader with reviews, and take pride in not being a sellout.
The overall was bumped up by the price, the room inside, and the sound dampening. If it was a $150 case, no way would it have made A-.
@SirJamesDTech Yeah, the price is nice. But for a six pack of beer and a pack of cigarettes you could buy a better case....okay maybe a case of beer, but you understand what I am trying to say.
Ya dude, totally agree on the power supply dust filter. My cm 690ii has the same issue, it's such a pain if you actually clean your computer out like I do.
can't you buy some old skt 775 stuff with a passive heatsink and a graphics card which is passive coolded so we can get some idea about the performace of the case?
Hey SirJamesD, great review. I know many people aren't fans of NZXT, whose cases I've used almost exclusively, but you should really check out their new Phantom case. It's full tower and it has a lot of the features you look for (the dust plate is on the bottom of the case). I understand you have a lot of products lined up, but if you did that anywhere down the line, I'd be extremely appreciative.
You really know what you are talking about. Very nice, informative video. Thx for sharing your thoughts and opinion of this product. But for me this case is not for me...I really don´t like the design.
@TheDemeaning I'm looking into creating some music of my own for that. It's a big no-no as I'll get a Content ID marker if I use another artists' and the video could be removed by YouTube.
Yes, i figured there was only going to be enough space for the sound dampening because i can see the aspect of this case was mainly for quit pc. Also im beginning to see a lot of new cases with the MOBO cut out plate to the far left, for some reason idk why that is happening now.. well anyways thanks for the review and hopefully company's can take heed of your advice and do some more improvements...
the thing that really ruins it for me is the front on the case trying a little to hard to copy one of the D85 cases and the rest on the case such as the interior and side panel it looks like a 932 good review James
I really don't like the styling of this case, but I do like the front panel connectors. I would like to see A USB 3.0. The interior black coloring should be the norm nowadays. If it had a more appealing look (To me) I would get this instead of the Corsair 600T.
i do not like that case!

Thanks for another great review, that case really is great value,
Also it seems the little gain tweak you made on the mic has fix the audio distortion, Audio is now 100%,
Thanks again for the review, I look forward to the next one :-)

Great Review ,, the only thing I dont like is the washers for the 220mm fan, they too should have been Black.
As for the PSU filter even if they made it so as to be removable from the bottom underside of the case, would be great , no need to open case then
