  • Scott ties together the absolute masterful versions of this. Don't ever underestimate how many God-given prodigies on the horn from Eastman to Stanford to Oberlin don't want to, and never will, play tenor like Mister Hamilton. We all ask for God's connection to the masters, but we seldom get it. Scott did.

  • Grande saxofonista e conoscitore dei grandi del passato. Che gusto raffinato e fantastica sensibilità.

  • Awesome as always Scott

  • Sheer perfection - and twice a year Scott plays up close at my local jazz club near London. Man I'm lucky!

  • I love his sound.

  • He really studied some Ben Webster!!!

    Beautiful!

  • I went to see him a couple of years ago. I could listen to him all day so much feeling and soul to his playing.

  • What can you say that's not already said about this legend called Scott Hamilton ! Absolutrely superb !

  • Scott Hamilton is Scott Hamilton

  • Tenor saxophone perfection!! Warmth, soul and chops all in one.

  • Wow the tone is smooth it draws you in

  • he has such a beautiful tone. Love it

  • He seems to embrace the great feel for a ballad of the very best -Webster and Hawkins in particular. Another great contemporary player Hamilton fans would appreciate is Tommy Smith (Spartacus)

  • great scott!! what a true romantic of the tenor and how many people would choose such a wonderfully slow tempo? excellent!!

  • 心に染入りますね・・大好きな曲です。投稿ありがとうございます。

  • It must be difficult to come up with some new variations on this song which has ben a favorite of jazzmen for 70 years or more, but Scott Hamilton does just that!
