They don't sound nearly as good live...and not just because of the equipment. They can't blend or match together as well live, and their intonation is off. They were obviously lip syncing at the Helix Center concert.

This must've been her very last performance with Celtic Woman! Miss her so much! And Chloe looks like she's really grown since filming ACC. Her dress seems too short for her! And I think Lynn looks gorgeous in Meav's dress!

Meav had left by this time. The last thing she did was film the Christmas DVD, then she decided she wanted to pursue her solo career.

Well ... I believe that the last DVD Meav did with Celtic Woman was "A New Journey" in Slane Castle .Celtic Woman" A Christmas Celebration was released before that one.

I don't think that would have sound better... Carol of the Bells is a horrible choice to perfom at a tv-studio, because it very high sung. A tv-studio can't reach the effects they normaly use, so their high singing sounds horrible...

Er, Lynn Hillary is taking Meav's place in terms of singing parts; it makes some sense to have her wear Meav's dress as well, especially when singing a song originally recorded with Meav.

Though I will say that she failed miserably at the very high "ding dong ding dong" bit at 1:59... even with the usual bad sound quality of TV performances, that was bad. And admittedly very difficult to pull off. Probably should have avoided that altogether.

I agree. Meav's part is very difficult to reproduce. And I know Lynn tries hard. But I'm afraid that Lynn's voice just isn't made to hit notes that high. She would be better in the lower ones. I think Lisa would have hit that note better than Lynn did. But I will give kudos to Lynn. I heard her live and she truly was amazing. I also believe that given time, Lynn will eventually "learn" the part and will do better at it.
