This guy's playing is a mixture of Stanley Clarke,Stanley Jordan and Edward Van Halen rolled into one!!!! Check out his octave harmonics (12 frets above the root note),that is an Edward Van Halen technique!!!! Listen to the intro to "Women In Love" off "Van Halen II,and you'll hear a lot of simularities!!!!
See, one thing I love about these bass videos, with guests coming in and trying out the basses, is that each one has there own unique style of playing. Everyone plays so different! Just shows that music is an art form of expression, and not a competion.
Why every one that wants to test a bass in a video does slap or tapping?? I mean 90% or more of the playing time in real life is NOT slap..I WANNA HEAR the damn "real" sound of the bass
anyone knows the chords? its fast and i cant grab'em.

You can tell the player is good when he/she can make a shit bass sound like a $1000+ instrument. The tone is in your hands, folks.

@DLI848 Its actually a pretty decent bass.

wich sr is this? im thinking to get an sr 750 cuz it isnt very very very expensive and it looks nice
BoboSab3121 2 years ago
That's an SRX 470. The SR have bartolini soapbar pickups, and these are some MM-Style Ibanez pickups. Go for the SR750, these are really great basses
PiorovPL 2 years ago
its an srx2ex1 or ex2 the srx 470 has a blueish foil around the outer edge.

Do you mean this SRX bass guitar is Passive pick up? I saw a battery compartment at the back of a model in a music shop.
