Check out his octave harmonics (12 frets above the root note),that is an Edward Van Halen technique!!!! Listen to the intro to "Women In Love" off "Van Halen II,and you'll hear a lot of simularities!!!!

That's an SRX 470. The SR have bartolini soapbar pickups, and these are some MM-Style Ibanez pickups. Go for the SR750, these are really great basses

its an srx2ex1 or ex2 the srx 470 has a blueish foil around the outer edge.
