  • @Barbossapasa

yes the characters are from ottoman era, karagoz is shaman and hacivat is muslim. but the shadow play art is an anchient Turk art not ottoman. It is more older than ottoman, i just wanted add that because as you know greeks are very talented to steal any Turkish culture, unfortunately i find it necessary to explain in case of any theft.

  • @zzeynepp18 I didnt say that shadow play art is not ancient, i just said karagoz and hacivat are ottoman (turkish) shadow play characters

  • @zzeynepp18 Right!! The poor and little greek culture needs to steal the RICH and GREAT turkish culture!! Listen to me! We lived together for over 400 years. Your culture took greek elements and we embodied turkish elements. This called "syncretism" (bağdaştırmacılık? google translation) of culture. So take out the nationalistic shit of your head!!!

  • @nikpapgre

you should tell this to your greek people first, cause they claim that Turks had no culture before coming anatolia. You might have a great or poor culture i dont care,I am not interested in greek culture.Just stop telling lies that Turks didnt have a culture.I know you have shadow-play in your country and also you know Bağlama. If you believe that Turks were uncivilized people dont play their baglama and dont watch their shadow-play.I can share anything with honest people but...

  • You just have to love the music if you have spent time in Turkey and especially the turkish puppets done in camel leather which I have a copy purchased from the markets.

  • @BigMacx51 You're right. A lot of people don't even know a thing about Turkey, and when you go there you fall in love with Turkey and everything that's Turkish! Love at first sight!

I can't wait to go back, and maybe even move there.
