@SysAdmin86851 well i wouldnt say that, its pretty hard to target a kick in mid flight, and tae kwon do guys have the fastest and most versatile kicking methods. i dont practice tkd, but its a lot faster than what you're describing.

i wouldnt say that. the mizongyi player was pretty good. There was also another very good bajiquan player but i didnt get a chance to record him because he only played once against the taekwondo.

@legendaryhero90 I just watched it, and I can disagree. He looks like he was pretty good because his opponent is totally clueless. Safe launcher, hit confirm. Hit? Combo. Block? Sidestep.

And Baji was too mindfucked to realize what was going on. That's the general formula good players use to beat up bad ones, so we didn't get to see him actually use any mindgames whatsoever.

All the good KKH players were TKD. KPPKK ALL DAY YO~

KwonHo/JingWu is better than Tekken for two simple facts.

Its a MMO, very competetive and ranking isn't based on level, its based on skill.

KwonHo also allows you to customize yourself, other than picking a dam random dude/girl to play with.

Even more more, have you ever played this game? The key combonations to do some combos/dodgeing are just purely insane. You can't just pick up this game and beat any person.

Tekken isn't a MMO. Its weird when you have 73 other people running around looking exactly like you. Its called being unique (But I guess you don't know about that because you obviously don't seem familar with MMOs, Only console games). Tekken really only wins over this game in Graphics. I rather have thousands of people to fight in a huge community, making a rep for myself.

yes I play tekken. I play tekken at a high level in fact. Please explain these crap situations to me? please understand the game works on nothing but numbers so if theres any crap situations its not from the game itself but the randomness in which the player throws out moves. Tekken has a balanced character basis and every character has his fair share of trash. but calling it inconsistent is a very bold and incorrect statement.

if you play it at such a high level then you should know that the game has lots of shenanigans such as jumping cross ups, moves that crush everything sometimes, and throws that beat striking moves SOMETIMES.

and i doubt you play it at a high level either, why? because even tourney players cannot tell you when and on what frames a throw will beat a hit, where a move has crush frames or why some moves whiff completely at times.

its also fair to state that tekken is only balanced because everyone is broken in some way, shape or form. characters that lack tools in any area, is bottom tier or not played at all. characters that have good rush down games, or a good set of moves overall are generally best.

and dont even get me started about T6's Sidestep system. That thing is just about useless in some match ups due to just about everyone having crazy string combos.

out of 40 characters, there is 2 "Bottom Tier". Yoshi and zafina. And i'll tell you this right now, as low tier as they are they can still beat Lars, Laws, Brians, Devil Jins and Bobs. The game is balanced. Balanced through good aspects or bad, its still balanced. the sidestepping is fine. Strings are usually the easiest things to SideStep btw. And its not all about side stepping. Tekken has one major skill most games dont utilize. MOVEMENT. MOVEMENT IS CRUCIAL AT HIGH LEVEL

Those 2 can beat them others alright. Still doesn't cover the fact that its a 7-3 match up in most of those matches. Meaning the fight is heavily weighted against them. And dont even get me started on match ups.

and no not all strings are easy to step in T6. A Lars, Steve, or Nina rushing you down correctly can stop you from steping.

I stated in the first post every character has trash. In every competition there is a 7-3 match up, EVEN NFL.

Lars has good homing moves. So don't sidestep against.

The fact that Lars has homing moves that good should indicate that there should be something to offset that imbalance. Sadly, he doesnt have a weakness to counter his strength. See where the character imbalance comes in? Everyone has trash. Some just have more trash than others and that makes the game imbalance.

And no the game isnt deep at all. Just guess right with a launcher or crush move and you basically win. Either that or poke your way to a victory.

In my opinion the developer's creative team of this game is also the one who worked on SFIV or partly involved at least. See the similarity in art? Great game. I'd say it's a mixture of SFIV and Tekken.

@legendaryhero90 well when they say SFIV is 2D I don't totally agree with it because the only reason it is considered 2d because they player don't have the control 2 rotate the scene. But actually they used 3d assets on the game and a game engine was used to develop the game. And I've known geeks that actually ripped or extract the character models from the game. If this is really a 2d game there would be no models to be extracted.

what your talking about is using 3rd game models and graphics. but SFIV is still essentially a 2D fighter.

The playing field is essentially a line and characters cant move in nor out of that line. There's no sidestepping a fireball or attack.

SFIV is a 2d fighting game with 3D graphics, but that doesnt mean it's 3D.

ask any veteran of fighting games. they will tell you the same.

as all real gamers know, its not the graphics that make the game, but the gameplay itself.

But what I understand is that when they say that this game is 2D they mean that they are mearly using 2d images of the 3d postures to create animated moves which is when applied to this type of game is impossible because of the zooming in of characters. Images cannot be used because for instance when Feilong executes his ultra combo the camera zooms in and rotates so that you could also see his opponent. There would be an infinit possible posture for that opponent.
