It's a lsx 427 block bored .30 over. Motor is built and boosted, not sure how much though, but it's on 93 octane, this car is literally one of the nastiest cars I've seen If you know what your looking at.

@Ziknazoo that is absolutely NOT acceleration found in top fuel. He hits the accelerator at 8 seconds (65 mph) and takes till 13 seconds (169 mph) which would be 5 seconds. That is absolutely realistic for this car considering top fuel runs about 300 mph in 3.?? seconds. And yes of course he is on a dyno hence the camera peering out the window to see the power that was just put out on the dyno.

That thing is ridiculous. Impossible to put it all ofn the ground, but I have seen setups that limit the power to like 700 hp in 1st, 800-900 in 2nd, 1,000 hp in 3rd and all of it in 4th and 5th.

With that much power you could just play with them, pass them and smoke the tires in front of them at 100mph. I've always thought turbos were great but im just glad more people are putting them on big v8. How many milimeters is that turbo?

@nleboe Doesn't' help you at all in the really tight stuff though. Those wings fins and things only help when your goign 70 or so miles per hour, and the entire way there it's fighting wheelspin. It's fun to be sure but the last thing I'd want to have to do is let the tires, chassis, ect settle when I need to stomp on the whoa peddle.

oh c'mon now guys it's not that dangerous on the street, it's a turbo vette so if you drive it mild it's street manners are just that, you don't know it's not stock until he gets on it. Even if he wanted to get on it on the street it's not hard to have a tuner ... and i'm sure anyone with a 1000+ hp car has a tuner, and tune the car down for street and have another setup for the strip.
