Two reasons why the Steelers Defense is always so good is #1 Dick Lebeau is the best defensive coach in NFL history and #2 they're the most veteran defense in the NFL year in and year out and add pieces in when necessary thru the draft. They also remain loyal to the team like no other team does and take less money whenever they have to sign a new contract. They do that because the team is family and know they'll always be a winner.

Steelers are definately the best Defense of all the 2000's, always been in the top 10 defenses and have been the NFL's #1 Defense in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2008, more than any other team BY FAR and those other years in the 2000's mostly in the top 5. They're always the #1 Defense BY FAR when everybody is healthy, nobody comes close to them, they've got pro bowlers everywhere. Even last year with Troy Polamalu and Aaron Smith out they still finished 5th in Defense. 2010 they'll be #1 again as well!

If it wasn't for some key injuries this year we would've been just fine. This is why our team's are always good. The guy's get along like family, and most importantly THEY HAVE FUN.
