when i first bought ballbreaker, i only enjoyed had as a rock, cover you in oil and ballbreaker the song. but since, its really grown on me. burnin alive is awesome. and so is the furor, boogie man, whisky on the rocks, hail ceasar, the honey roll and love bomb! the only track im not crazy about is caught with your pants down, but its not too bad. i think its a great album!

I am a big acdc fan but have never owned this album. So i bought it a week ago and i must say the album hasn't impressed me that much. Songs are too repetitive and sound like other acdc songs that ive heard before. Hard as a rock, the honey roll, love bomb are prob my favs on the album. Its ok, 3 of 5

I would rate this album a 2 out of 5. Its just not AC/DC to me it just too boring and slow. Stiff Upper Lip was bit better but nothing that really stood out. In my opinon the 90's was a bad year for acdc.

Songs like 'The Furor' and 'Cover you in Oil' could have been huge hits and become part of their live set if only they'd had better lyrics.

Oh well, you can't have everything I suppose.

In any case, the song 'Ballbreaker' itself, in my opinion, is as good as anything they've ever done.

I love all their albums w/ Brian n w/ Bon. but this album is no 1 on my list.

hmm well this album has its good and bads. but with tracks like: The Furor,Hard as a Rock and big gun its not that bad. Yea in my mind this would be their worst but its still AC/DC wich its great...i mean come on all their stuff sounds the same kinda so yea ...yea this album isnt back in black or highway to hell but it has its gems or should i say balls.

Dude you gotta be kidding me?? BALLBREAKER is a great AC/DC album and I'd add it to their underrated album(s) list alongside POWERAGE,FLICK OF THE SWITCH and FLY ON THE WALL. Personally in my opinion STIFF UPPER LIP sucked!!

I agree with your comments. Ballbreaker is the worst AC album. Fly on the Wall is really good, nice riffs, solos, intros. Ballbreker is not a creative album. Love Bomb and Caugth... are the worst AC songs

Yea its a shame that Big Gun wasnt on it. Its one of their best tracks ever! Though I really dont like that album for some reason. Hard as a Rock, Cover you in Oil, great tracks but its something else. To me it just doesnt feels like an AC/DC album.

AC/DC have always had silly lyrics. I actually think that Ballbreaker has some of their better ones.

I'm rather surprised at how much flak the album has got. I think it's bloody amazing, just for Whiskey On the Rocks alone.

I think that album is sheer trash. Hard as a Rock and Cover you in Oil are good. Big Gun would have been awsome too. But the rest, dont tell me Flick of the Switch or Fly on the Wall wouldnt beat it.

That album had some classic 'DC music, but some really dumb lyrics, which has always been the case since Brian stopped writing (a situation to be remedied on the next record!)
