the video was sweet. that clearly depicts the shyness and beauty of indian bengali women. but i still don't understand how long the telephone cord was.. Rabindra Sangeet specialists are very much pronounced here. Before criticising them, please note that this song does not violate any tune or notes created by Tagore. And Tagore protested for excessive music only for particular songs, say "Sraboner dharar moto" even if you want you can not load heavy music in it. Initially I disliked Aalo Rabindra sangeet, but I checked notes, its perfect. At the first we dislike because from childhood some sick people define the way Rabindra sangeet tobesung.

I fail to understand why so many ugly comments are posted against this music.This song is rabindranath's young age creation, just after his return from europe.The effect of western music(Opera type)is distinctly identified here.The theme used here matches the original theme quite nicely. We often think ourselves highly cultural conscious and protector of cultural assets-without knowing background. Incidentally this movie(Alo)is directed by Tarun Mazumdar,one of the finest bengali film directors.
