  • If I were to ever own a country then this would most definitely be the national anthem!

  • If your posting classic Saxon then at least use the right lineup picture. Give Graham and Steve credit.

  • i saw this band in 2010 at download

  • One of the best metal songs ever...

  • class tune,played it till the 45 wore out,when i was a boy shhh

  • This song's badass! It reminds me of a episode from the original 'Twilight Zone' series, the one where a 747 passes through into another dimension. Man, that was a cool one, and this song seems to go along with it oddly enough. I love Saxon too, great band!

  • I saw this band in Swindon at the Oasis in the early 80's- top night out

  • Have not heard this for 20 years+ Still sounds fantastic. I had the picture sleeve 7" double A side single with the equally awesome 'See the light shining' on the flip side. Top band.

  • saw these at the manchester apollo about 1980ish my ears still have not recovered

  • @MrSjb1963

Same here - Hull City Hall, 23rd December, 1980. I arrived at the gig full of flu' but left as clear as a bell! Bits of ornate plaster were falling from the ceiling, it was so fucking loud!

  • @WatTyler13 Bet you gave the flu to everyone else whilst you were snotting all over your denim and leather!

  • @MrSjb1963 I know what you mean, i saw them twice in the 80s very loud.

  • @MrSjb1963 Consider yourself fucking lucky, at least you lost it listening to the music you love, in my family being hearing impaired is hereditary. I had it from the moment I was born, and I got it from my mother. Just as I'm starting to lose my hair and I got that from mum also. I HATE/LOVE MY MUM SO MUCH! I CANT MAKE UP MY MIND!

  • @JudazPreist is stupidity hereditary?

  • @MrSjb1963 oh yeah

  • @JudazPreist You could always put a bag over your head then no-one will notice your hair loss. Or maybe you could just grow up.

  • @MrSjb1963 what did u say

  • Saxon is the best metal band ever!!!

  • This is amazing! I wonder if it's based on a real incident?

  • @vordman might be based on the 747?

  • this is awesome metal !! these guys are so under rated. love them..
