@JesusPerkele666 I think what you really should be sorry for is using the word "gay" to mean bad. Think about who you are hurting before you post, and there will be no need to be sorry...
This is, what is called "MUSIC" i keep hearing this song from 2006, now 2011 still feels like new and gives the weird feeling that fields of the nephilim give.
21 Years have passed and we are readying ourselves once again for a monumental Fields of the Nephilim Concert at Brixton's Brixton-Academy - life is extremely good indeed :)
Field of the Nephilim sind für mich DIE Dark-Rocker schlechthin. Das ist Gothic. Sorry, aber an die kommen nicht mal 69 Eyes ran, obwohl die für mich auch ganz weit oben stehen.
@MsUltimatedrummer: Carl not dead (sorry when you understand it so) are Fields of the Nephilim never come back, I mean the good old Times of Gothik Rock !!!
simply underrated.....as so many songs which have never become "pop".....but what for ? It`s not mystic or spiritual....it`s Kurts mind and he was and will always tell people his observational feelings....I`m proud and glad for this "ol" songs !
@PsychoKungFu It's such a shame you used the term "fags", a word used by redneck arseholes that believe Sky News. Word to the wise - only dipshit turdheads EVER say the word fag. I hope this is just ignorance rather than you are a right-wing twat.
Carl&tony and the other members of Fields, they wait Nahemah's,or Lillith's,or Hecate's light (for her light, right?)remember the song SHINE from the album ZOON...bow before Hecate!! ceremoning carl...αχαχαχαχαχαχα...
Like you say. They have it/had it. Compare the atmosphere and depth of Earth Inferno (a live album) to Pink Floyd (just after dark side...). Quality acts are timeless.

Was this gothic? I mean, today for me sounds very different like the way it used to. This is pop rock but 20 years ago sounded like gothic.
BoloAlcocer 2 years ago
What do heck you think is gothic?
And what the heck your definition of pop rock?
Goth rock is meant to be laid back and atmospheric with a baritone crooning grimly about the occult and stuff.
And "The Nephilim" is one of the harsher acts almost bordering on goth metal sometimes.(not here though)
PennyDreadful1 2 years ago 2

Agreed, 90% of the Neph's music is brilliant, some ethereal beauty caught in a hall of darkness, as a dear friend would describe them.
I've heard the phrase 'For Her Light' in the bible I think, but I may be mistaken.
You're though, they're not just a goth band, they really no how to rock as well!
