like i said i agree with everything he says about nutrition but him having 21 inch arms is not research just having muscle doesnt mean what ever he says is correct..there are guys in prison with 20 plus inch arms and they arent eating half as much food or taking any supplements however the key to building muscle is rest and recovery check out mike menzter seminar on youtube he will give you the best training principles when it comes to volume, recovery ability, and frequency hes also a bb LEGEND
NORMALLY WHEN YOU TAKE A WEEK OR TWO OFF YOU WILL COME BACK STRONGER NOT WEAKER WHAT THE HELL DOES RHYTHM HAVE TO DO WITH BUILDING MUSCLE I SEE YOU HAVE A VIDEO TITLED " TRAINING DOES NOT BUILD MUSCLE " THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULDN'T TRAIN ALL WEEK MORE TIME SHOULD BE USED TO REST AND RECOVER TOO MANY BODYBUILDING GURUS COSTANTLY CONTRADICT THEIR OWN THEORIES PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH SOME SORT OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH BEFORE YOU YAP ABOUT SOME KIND OF MUSCLE RHYTHM CONTINUITY BS
@MTOSupeRNaturaL How about Leroy being the first guy to build 21 inch arms when it was thought to be impossible???? Isnt that enough "scientific research" for you??? Oh wait, scientific research said it was impossible to do so......
@mryorkielover like i said i agree with everything he says about nutrition but him having 21 inch arms is not research just having muscle doesnt mean what ever he says is correct..there are guys in prison with 20 plus inch arms and they arent eating half as much food or taking any supplements however the key to building muscle is rest and recovery check out mike menzter seminar on youtube he will give you the best training principles when it comes to volume, recovery ability, and frequency
@MTOSupeRNaturaL the man has over 60 years experience you asshole...why dont you just do us all a favor and shut the fuck up! you dont even have the decency to respect a man thats almost 80 years old.
@otf1985 I DONT CARE HOW MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ANYONE HAS IF WHAT THEIR SAYING IS WRONG IM GOING CALL IT OUT IM NOT BEING DISRESPECTFUL JUST SPEAKING THE TRUTH I NEVER DISRESPECTED LEROY IN ANY WAY I JUST DISAGREED WITH WHAT HE WAS SAYING I HAVE MUCH RESPECT FOR HIM BUT I AND MANY OTHERS HAVE ALREADY TRIED HIS APPROACH WHEN IT COMES TO THE TOPIC OF FREQUENCY AND IT DOESN'T PRODUCE MEANINGFUL RESULTS
YOU MAY HAVE PLENTY OF KNOWLEDGE WHEN ITS COMES TO SUPPLEMENTS AND STEROIDS..BUT TRAINING 1 MUSCLE THAT MANY TIMES A WEEK WILL ONLY RESULT IN OVER TRAINING ESPECIALLY FOR US NATURAL BBs THE HUMAN BODY HAS A VERY LIMITED RECOVERY ABILITY I DIDN'T START TO GAIN ANY MUSCLE MASS UNTIL I SLOWED DOWN MY TRAINING FROM 6 DAYS A WEEK TO ONLY 3 TIMES PER WEEK RESEARCH MIKE MENTZER HE HAS THE SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT A HUMAN BEINGS NATURAL RECOVERY ABILITY HATE FOR YOUNG KIDS TO TRY YOUR METHOD AND FAIL
I WORKING EA BODY PART ONE'S A WEEK.FOR 15 YEARS NOW AND I'M ONE OF THE BIG ANIMALS AROUND WITH OUT STEROIDS AT THE AGE 65 FULL BODY WORK OUT 3 TIMES A WEEK;;IN YOUR DREAMS SPECIAL IF YOU OVER 50.LOOK MY SIZE IN MY VIDEOS.STEEL I HAVE 20"+ ARMS.
that is very very true like monday some heavy squat with some bi and tri then tuesday start litte squat but with more bi and tri then wenesday squat leg some body part here and their it very true very true i been doin that four 5 year and i mess around my rountine alot to see how it goes around to mess it up and it true like if u do bench monday u max out let say 315 then friday u max out again and ur 315 still maybe alot less like u lose streaght that way u have to do it one day yes and one no
Continuity, rhythm and groove. Not sure what they mean in the context of bodybuilding. I'll work each body part once a week and allow recovery and growth.
@dancetahitian I AGREE WITH YOU 100% RHYTHM AND GROVE IS ONLY SOMETHING BENEFICIAL FOR SPORTS LIKE BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL.....THE ONLY THING THIS CONSTANT TRAINING WILL DO FOR A NATURAL BODYBUILDER IS DESTROY THE MUSCLE.....THE ONLY REASON WHY JUICE HEADS CAN TRAIN LIKE THIS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE FASTER RECOVERY FROM THE DRUGS THEY USE WHICH COUNTER ACT OVER TRAINING THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE TO TAKE SO MANY CHEMICALS ANYWAY
@lovesgibson IF you are on steroids you can train however you want. If you aren't you need to train smarter. Full body workouts 3x a week, 1-2 hours long is the best method.
so what ur sayin by not staying away from a body part for longer then 2 days is effictivly i will be working out my lets say arms 4 times in 7 days? surely thats to much i am not trying to be a smart arse or contradict just asking buddy i know what a ledgend u are and have heaps of respect just finding this hard to get my head around goes againt most things ive been told
@miguelmouta Great question, Im 51, recently discovered the best is 3 days between bodyparts, has been working awesome, gained 2 inches on my arms in one yr. Workout every other day, push then pull. Hit me up if want my routine. Tryed the one bodypart a week, its so much bullshit.
@blindmellonchittlen I hoped mryorkier answered that. But I really thank you. Personally , I obbey 2 days for recovery . I think the best for mantaining adherence to training, is to do few exercises, with maximum amount of reps and weigh , the fast as you can . One kind of exercise for each principal muscular group. No more. Smaller muscles also grow, while helping the others.Workout becomes very short , without any embrace for daily life activities. But I assure you astonishing results.
@blindmellonchittlen Im always interested in peoples routines and im currently training 1bp per week. would you provide more details of your plan for me please? and howlong you have been traing for?
Excellent topic, and great info Leroy. i Try to tell these kids these days the same exact thing, There brainwashed into this one day a week per bodypart, what bullshit.
@vince05fitness I have discovered lately, that I am only sore when I neglect cool down after workout. When I was doing cca 2 minutes cool down after workout, I was usually sore for 4 days. But now when I cool down for 15 minutes, I can feel only light soreness next day. Just keep moving in those areas you have just trained with no weight or small weight. I usually do shadow boxing.

are you saying that you can train legs 2-3 times a week? cause I get mad sore 2-3 days after a leg workout. love the input
vince05fitness 1 year ago
@vince05fitness You should adapt to training 2-3 time for legs a week. Give it time.
I wouldn't advocate too much cardio, after all your focusing on bodybuilding.
