I agree, I'm a senior in high school ready to graduate and in our school there is a large mixture of races that blend together in a melting pot of sorts. We love each other as brothers and sisters. But I don't agree that ALL teenagers think this way. With upbringings, it is difficult to go against what you're shown all the time in family and society and conform to it, or else be called a "nigger lover" in secret... In that way, you have to blame ones who still wish to hold on to racism.

I have many friends who are black, but I don't see them by their race. Neither do most people. I see all people of race equally as individuals. Most people who complain about others being racist are racist themselves.

I agree, I'm a senior in high school ready to graduate and in our school there is a large mixture of races that blend together in a melting pot of sorts. We love each other as brothers and sisters. But I don't agree that ALL teenagers think this way. With upbringings, it is difficult to go against what you're shown all the time in family and society and conform to it, or else be called a "nigger lover" in secret... In that way, you have to blame ones who still wish to hold on to racism.

I have heard her patronizing, condescending tone and seen her give Obama the "look" from, um, day one of this campaign. She does not do that with her white opponents. The first time I heard Obama's name, ironically, was due to Salon dot com's headline using the U-word. They quickly replaced it, apologized calling it an oversight. I clearly support Obama and I think Hillary and her team were surprised by Obama's candidacy and are now seeking to use nasty techniques to undermine voters' trust in him and their confidence that he can win in the general election.
Still, it is just as clear that the person interviewed by David Corn is identified NOT as a Clinton staffer but someone who is an UNAFFILIATED OPERATIVE. What is not clear about that to you?

I have looked up the term and can see that the racial slur 'uppity negro' was likely the bait David Corn was using on an anti-clintonite. I am European and unfamiliar with that usage. My apologies. (FYI if I were American I would vote Kucinich).
However I have now read the full source article and it is clear that these are the words of antagonist David Corn and not Clinton or staff. I don't doubt that you know that too; So why do you keep this post up? Is your agenda what you claim?

His source article clearly states that the author (David Corn) used the word 'uppity' in an interview with a 'Democratic operative unaffiliated with any campaign'. This has been pointed out to Zennie many times but he doesn't respond. His accusations of racism are debunked by his own source and are thus slanderous yet Zennie keeps the post up. Democrats and honesty are the victims of his campaign. Perhaps a neo-con agenda to divide and discredit Democrats?

I have never heard the term "uppity" before but i guess that is because i'm afro-european. To combat racism we need 2 stick 2gether, and continue beliving in ourselves. But not make such a loud noise about it. i think the process is gradual and we have to somehow "weed" are way thru into the system? If u get me? I have many friends who are black, but I don't see them by their race. Neither do most people. I see all people of race equally as individuals. Most people who complain about others being racist are racist themselves.

To me it is obvious that you view people in groups according to race instead of as individuals. This is a racist way to view people in my opinion. Although racism exists, it is uncommon. Most people who "use a racist word" aren't racist. I looked up "uppity negro" and it still doesn't seem like a racist phrase to me. This doesn't surprise me at all. The Clinton crew just thought they were going to waltz right back into the White House in 2008. Thankfully, the American people are starting to wake up at this very moment and realize what a mistake that would be.
If she weren't Bill's wife, she'd be battling Joe Biden and Mike Gravel way in the back. The "uppity" guy is going to beat her in Iowa and it's going to snowball from there.

A word on a blog of a individual Clinton staffer does not describe the Clinton camp. The dictionary gives these meanings for 'uppity': 'rebellious', 'having ideas above ones station', 'snobbish', 'looking down on others' etc but nothing to do with race. That is your own assumtion and groundless. Pointing the finger and saying racist when there is no issue, is the same as crying wolf i.e. The messages becomes diluted when there really is a problem. That is a disservice to everyone!
