that is a load of shit! children and teenagers have their own views of morality. they know what is right and what is wrong, and even if they get the wrong idea because of the book then teachers would not be blamed but the students themselves. censoring this book is just as useless as covering student's ears when adults talk about sex. it's just immoral! they should have the right to know everything and take responsibility for their actions.

if they thinks it'll be offensive they should either A: not have the class read that book or B: do how they do with movies and have parents permission slips. and if the kid isnt allowed to read it they can read another book or something
