@NickWoosmann lmao i did the same thing. my ears were BOTH blowouts when i stretched to a 0gauge and instead of taking it out i just put a plug in. it hurt, and bled, but it's okay cause the infection went away and its all good now :) haha

I went from a 18g to a 12g to an 8g, I'm now at 1/2 inch and my ears are completely fine, just clean them and wait at least a week and a bit before stretching. it usually doesn't matter as much at the small sizes.. like anything before 6g.
Lol... If you want your ears to be fine and have no chance of fucking up, Go gauge by gauge, 14-12-10-8 etc. Wait like 3-4 weeks in between each gauge. Clean them, Take care of them.. I went from 10-0 in one week. My ears are fine. I do not recommend that though. I am currently at 1 inch and 1/4.
from what you said its not really a blow out. just tore. if you has skin pushed out of the oposing hole from which you put the ring through then i would have considered it a blow out. and im curently only at a 2g. i started at a 16g because my friend said it would be best for a larger gauge. so my lobes dont become really thin because i have relativly small lobes. and dont keep the taper in your ear that long. as soon as you get the taper in wait like an hour and slip the ring in for best result

i saw a doctor about it and it was just a minor thing he said wait a week or two and the tissue should be fully healed and the infection has already went away
