It took me a lot of patience en retries but it was all worth it! Thanks again for putting up this vid!

I'm on IOS 5 B7, BB 04.11.04 and running on KPN NL network. Full signal and 3G runs like it did before!

P.S. For other Gevey users, patience works best ;) Follow instructions and wait for all messages to popup. (never had one signal bar in the whole proces though).

I've got Iphone 4gen (4.3.3, 4.10.01) and gevey supreme simply doesnt work. I'm going by the tutorial and I dont even get the gevey pop up instructions (what I get is "Sim card not installed") I'm from czech republic and I'm trying it with Vodafone micro sim, don't you know whats the problem?

its better to use the iphone 4 with AT&T then t-mobile because if u use it with t-mobile its only edge but if you use it with AT&T you will get 3g

Very clear and helpful video. My problem is that everytime I get to airplane mode and wait for the two messages about no sim installed or sim card failure, whatever those messages are, instead of those I get the messages telling me I have a new voicemail and asks if I want to answer or ignore. It happens at the exact time as the sim card messages would. Then no new carrier comes up, my phone does not unlock, and it says I have no service. I am trying to use a tmobile monthly prepaid plan.

So when u say this is helpful for international travelers do u mean that if u unlock the phone you can use GSM towers anywhere and avoid the insanely expensive international charges from ur carrier? I had that problem recently when I traveled to Canada, it would be nice if I could bypass it

Very nice video...You need to really explain this GPRS feature not working. I was thinking of getting Gevey ULTRA or Gevey SUPREME. Which one is better? All i can see is that you dont need jailbreak for Gevey Supreme and it catches signals quicker. gevey Unltra needs jailbreak and takes 1-2 mins to get signals. But does GPRS work on Gevey Ultra? Both are Untethered unlocks

@HussainShovon Okay so here is what I figured out:

Data works when you put the supreme in for 1st time. However, if the data turns off you need to take it out and insert the original iphone 4 sim, take that out, turn the iphone off, put supreme back and REDO whole process. I guess the "untethered" only works with voice and NOT with data.

@linkgato98 The only iPhone 4 baseband ultrasn0w supports is 01.59.00 and there are 5 iPhone 4 basebands in all. That's why some people use the Gevey Sim.

@teku11151 Of course, the Gevey Supreme works on all firmwares (iOS 4- iOS 4.3.3) and iOS 5 beta. iOS 5 comes out (publicly) in Fall and the Gevey Supreme probably will still work.
