Forgive me if I'm wrong, but a primarily stock car wouldn't have "tweety bird" in the muffler, right? I'm not big on the whole BOV thing anyways, but the exhaust sound is nice. And rennART prices their systems accordingly, not like AA, who wants over 2k for theirs. I do love the AA sound, just not the price!

@tumzy187 Yes. It's called a BOV - Blow off Valve. It releases the pressure from the twin turbos during acceleration pedal lift.

Fuck Class and Catagory. . . What ever makes the car run faster and cooler and adds more horsepower without destroying the engine and without being improperly tunned should be ok for who ever is spending the cash. All professional race cars sound crazy when they are fully tuned. Driving important / Image Sound / not important / think thats dumb here the duck calls on the bov now thats for idiots.

No you retard he didn't take it off because of the sound. He took it off because of going back to having it recirculated like it should be.

Yes, the way it should be. That sound is distinctive of that HKS SSQ BOV which is also very common in subaru cars. So that is why I said it makes it sound like a subaru ricer... because it does! And it shouldn't be. It's a european car. if you know much about cars then I shouldn't have to explain further.
