I have this and SF4, but I don't have blazblue(though I've played it a good bit). I enjoy kof more than Blazblue but as far as I'm concerned, SF4 is the best fighter of all time. Just, nothing compares to it for me. Other than smash bros. melee but that's a whole different type of game.

Here's my two cents. If you're a fighting game purist, pick KOF XII. It's bare bones features wise, but that shouldn't matter if you are only interested in the gameplay which is astonishingly good. If you're looking for something casual for a quick knock about with your friends then SFIV is your safest bet. It's really accessible, but becomes exceptionally dull at high level play. As for Blazblue, don't even bother, get Guilty Gear instead. It's Blazblue without the unbalanced bullshit.

Well, I have played all three, and in my opinion Blazblue is the best. It is horrendously unbalanced at times, but all of the characters feel unique and interesting to play it has 12 characters all of whom are distinctly different from one another, and a whole bunch of epic attacks. After is KoF, maybe I'm just an old fan boy of KoF but the combat of KoF is fast and intense and an single counter can suddenly change the game making it very tense. SF4 is just dull, no air guard means that every

fight just devolves into a fireball war since you can't defend from a shoryuken or flash kick, And your thumbs will give our long before the computer's does. Furthermore there are SO many clones Blazblue has 12 characters, but it can feel like 16 due to how people chose to play with characters like Jin, or Rachel. Street Fighter has 25 but feels more like 10, yes there are little differences and nuances between the characters that change the strategy, but it all still feels very samey.

KoF has a good fighting system but its quite a "skeleton game". There literally nothing feature wise or even a campaign mode. The online is pretty shitty, slightly more than SF4. Its faster than SF4 but slower than BB. KoF XII might be well made but even for a KoF game is pretty pathetic compared to SF4 or BB. Sure those games have broken elements but they have strong replay values.
