I am of the opinion that there are so many messed up men because they have not been raised with unconditional love from their parent(s). I've seen the rules. Most of these are rules of proper behavior for women. Nice women know the man they are sleeping with third date. I'm not dishonest or a manipulator. I don't try to be someone I am not. I agree with the no dates at the last minute. I' expect a man to respect me as a women. I taught my son the same to respect women. A man is where he wants to be. Sure there are crazy work schedules, demands from family or friends, but often a last minute date is because another woman backed out or he could not find someone else. I think all people (men and women) deserve better treatment than to be the back up date.

I personally was hurt very deeply by man that threw me under the bus for his crazy sociopath girlfriend, &my former husband was very abusive after the birth of our child. If I had a daughter I would still teach her to care and respect others feelings, not to lead someone on, be honest, forgiving.... Unfort 21st ct is also many good men ignore nice girls for aggressive/controlling types. That said- we should not lower ourself no matter the consquences.
